   I went to dinner at The Suffolk, after having had lunch the day before at its sister restaurant, L’escargot, in Soho. Both places were great. The Suffolk is absolutely beautiful. The gin cured sea trout as a starter was amongst the best any of us had eaten. Great food, a lively but not overly loud, ambience and excellent wine.

   This restaurant is lovely The food is beautifully presented and well cooked Good choices, the seafood particularly nice We ate there twice on our weeks holiday The staff were particularly friendly and efficient We found our table for 2 on both visits a little close to other diners, but actually we struck up a short conversation with each of on neighbouring diners so all was well.

   What a great place. The dining room is v pleasant, light and airy. The food was magnificent- highest quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. All this topped off with super friendly service. Thanks to all involved. We will return.

   The food here is excellent but be warned, they allow dogs too ,so unfortunately the couple next to us had two very smelly dogs, so we didn't stay for dessert!
