This was our first visit to Eldo Chop House. As El Dorado Hills residents we are excited about a new dining choice and pleased that it is a more formal restaurant. We dined in the dining room that can be made open air. The patio looked like a great option. The decor is on the formal side with white linen table cloths and napkins and gold color utensils. The ambiance is pleasant and in keeping with a fine dining experience. There were families but no children running about or being noisy. We had drinks, an appetizer, salads and a main course. Our server was very business like in nature, neither cheerful nor rude. She was very efficient with our different requests but again, no nonsense business like. Drinks and courses came in a timely fashion. Our water glasses were well tended. Empty plates were collected in a timely manner. Overall, the service was very good. We were a party of four and everyone enjoyed their meals. I ordered the New York Strip and it was prepared perfectly at medium well. Two other steaks were ordered medium rare and our friends were very pleased with them. The sides were well portioned. The three stars for service reflects our servers business like approach. Smiling and some friendly banter go a long way in feeling welcomed. We tried to no avail. We recommend Eldo Chop House and hope it is successful.

Food was good. We enjoyed our meal outside on the patio. Waitress even supplied a table top spinner to keep the flies at bay.

Wonderful place! Had a great meal on Mothers Day with my wife.

We have always had great meals at Lukas. Our server was helpful and friendly. I am gluten intolerant and our server was knowledgeable and super helpful.

My lobster was delicious and cooked perfectly! My wife snd daughter had a great time and experience as well. Thank you!
