Lone Wolf Restaurant and Lounge Ratings and Reviews
Second time the wife and I dined at the Lone Wolf, the first visit we got filet mignon, we enjoyed it so much we ordered the same thing second time around, very good piece of high end steak, highly recommend Lone Wolf to anyone. The price was about what one would expect to pay for such a quality meal.
We have been here in the past and were very disappointed this time with the quality of the food. The mussels were served in a sauce with no flavor and the bread it came with was not even buttered. The swordfish came with no sauce and was bland...we can't figure out why they served it with pasta when a nice rice would have been a better choice. The meat loaf was also bland and the carrots so hard you could not eat them. Salt was needed to make the food eatible, none on the table.
Food was fine. Waiter over worked by too many tables to cover. One of his tables was a very large group outside, so he was actually running between his stations! We were left with used appetizer dishes on our table for the entire course of our dinner. We didn't complain, as he was being asked to do way too much with so many customers in his area. All in all, it was a nice dinner . P.S. Loved your cheese and cured meat board!
Shirley was very helpful.. I asked for the Rib Eye & Baked Potato . NO Spinich or Onion Butter !!!
Under my steak was a stack of Green Spinich. YUK ! She gave me a clean Plate for the Steak but the juice was mixed with the spinich juice. I ate 1/2 of the steak but it syill tasted of spinich.
Last time was almost the same but with brocollini . If there is a next time you will hear me in the lounge.
Not the best aniversary dinner.. Shirley gave us a sweet dessert as it was our 55th anniversary
I felt the food was good, but not perfect. My steak was hard to cut and had some grissle in it. Flavor was good. I am not particularly fond of broccoli, and wish there were an alternative.
One of us ordered wine with dinner, but the waiter forgot. We don't know if it was included in the bill or not, forgot to look. Otherwise everything was good.
We chose the Lone Wolf Restaurant for our anniversary dinner celebration. We had heard the food was good but the restaurant was a bit noisy. No problem we just wanted a lovely evening out to enjoy a nice dinner. Billy, our waiter was exceptional. He was responsive to our every need. We thought, we were in for a great night. When I was served a steak knife I started to worry since I had ordered a chicken dish knowing it was supposed to be tender. I found out that a steak knife was truly needed since the dish was quite tough. My husband's fish meal was not much better with the fish being mushy. and the coating rubbery. Our salad was good and my wine was good with good choices for both. When the waiter came by we told him we did not want a discount but thought he should know what we thought of our meals. He listened attentively and said he would talk to management. We said, we did not want that and please give us the bill. It was local's night at the Lone Wolf but it felt more like HOME SWEET HOME. People were moving from one table to the next talking and showing off babies and the table right next to ours must have been holding court because everyone stopped by their table to talk. If I had been in a cafe setting in the Mid-West I would not have thought a thing about it but when you are supposedly in a higher end restaurant it was over the top. We sadly report we will not return to the Lone Wolf. Billy, the waiter was quite good and our two dinners were comped even though we requested to pay for our meals.
Great atmosphere. The food was very good. However the best thing about this restaurant is the service. From the moment you are greeted , the people are outstanding. Our waiter Billy was one of if not the best server we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. His perfect balance of attention and interaction was exceptional. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.
Liked the restaurant a lot but I had a reservation and had to wait for the person ahead of me who did not have one, make a reservation for a later time and had to go through the times that were available. This took a little time. I think a staff member should handle this and take the people WITH reservations first.
