was the best ribeeye steak ive ever had. also was cook to perfection , my hat off to your 5star chef
My fiance and I went for our fifth anniversary. We were running late but they held out reservation and happily seated us immediately in a cozy/romantic booth away from the noise of the bar (it was crowded for St. Patrick's Day!). I wouldn't say the entire place is "cozy/romantic" but if you are in a booth they are comfortable and pretty private. Our server was very helpful and attentive. To start we ordered Blood Orange Cosmos which were very good. For dinner we got a bottle of their Prosecco (which I prefer to Champagne - there was only one Prosecco option but it was excellent and well worth the price, which was not extraordinarly high), I had a chopped salad and he had soup of the day which was potato leek. Both were excellent! As entrees he really enjoyed the chef's burger with avocado and fries and I had their special that night which was Artic Char (a hybrid fish of Trout and Salmon) with root vegetables and broccoli rabe. It was unbelievable! The fish had the texture and thickness of salmon with more of a white color and white fish with a hint of salmon flavor taste. If they have it when you are there I highly recommend it!! We skipped dessert but I'm sure their creme brulee is very good - because we were not disappointed in anything - it was a FANTASTIC Anniversary, reasonably priced for the excellent quality of the food and attentive (but not overly so) service. I absolutely recommend this place especially for a special occasion!
The food was wonderful and the staff was excellent. We will definitely go back soon!
Very nice people that work there. Great menu, a little something for everyone. Service was excellent and done in a timely manner. Would love to go again!
Once again, the Lone Wolf surpassed our expectations. Server Kyle was welcoming, informative and professional. The seared salmon was perfectly done. Other delicious dishes included pizza, hamburger and shrimp scampi. This restaurant is great for any occasion.
I loved the relaxed atmosphere, the great food, and Brandi was a fantastic server.
It is like being at home.
It’s a casino. Had we known this, we probably wouldn’t have made a reservation. We circled the parking garage to find a spot then walked a good 100 yards through a smoke filled casino to get to the restaurant. There we were given a decent booth. Ambience is more of a nice cafe than an upscale restaurant. Also, the dining area is adjacent to a rowdy bar which can impact your experience depending on how close to the bar you’re seated. Dinner was “fine dining” prices so we expected great food and wasn’t disappointed. The French onion soup was presented in its own crock and had a good mount of onion with touch of sherry though the beef stock could have been richer. The filet was cooked perfect and the quality was just ok. Seasoned well and decently tender but nothing special. The chicken fettuccine was the winner of the meal. Fresh pasta cooked al dente in a rich cream and Parmigiana sauce. Overall, good food but not the environment and overall dining experience we’d hope for and expected, especially for the price.
The mussel appetizer was amazing. I highly recommend it. Several of us had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The chicken Marsala was very tender and full of flavor. Also the rib eye was a hit.
Very high quality food great fishnchips good seats great area
Wonderful dinner excellent service. My husband filet was so tender you could cut it with a fork. My scampi was made with fresh pasta.
my favorite restaurant, great food and service.
The only thing I would put a comment about is I ordered the Chateau St Jean Chardonnay and they gave me the Stone Creek but when I brought it to their attention they quickly corrected it. I had had a glass of the Chateau St John in the bar so I noticed a difference once I got to the dining table. They corrected the situation to my satisfaction thank you
best restaurant in Amador county, bar none!
The oysters on the half shell were very good. We sent our first bottle of wine back and our waiter was very accomodating. The gnocchi was a bit undercooked, but still very tasty. One person at our table had the Halibut and he felt the taste was rich. Another one of us tried to bacon wrapped meatloaf. Personally I would never try this dish but he tries it often and LOVED it. We will go back as the menu is very extensive and you can't possibly try everything in one night.
Came to the Lone Wolf for Valentine’s Day had a great meal and the service was excellent... Couldn’t have asked for a better night
We both love the atmosphere. Our dining menu selections are always perfectly prepared. The service could not be better.
Great food, great atmosphere, impeccable service, very good value all things considered. Highly recommend it price point.
Our server James was the best. He was attentive without being intrusive, knew the menu and wine list. My husbands fav place- We go a few times a year and generally for his birthday. They barber fail to please.
Good food great service. It was intimate and quiet. We had the smoked seafood appetizer which was amazing. The fresh bread was delicious.
Always excellent service, delicious food and great ambience
Once again the service was fantastic the atmosphere is really classy. Try the pizza you'll love it. Took a box home with the leftovers and it was a great meal for lunch the next day.
You should not have changed your menu. There were good choices before. Not so great now.
favorite local restaurant, great food and service.
We have traveled all over the world and LONE WOLF was surprisingly one of the BEST Restaurants and bang for the buck. Delicious food, great variety and wonderful sides!
As always a perfect night, perfect food and Kyle our waiter is the best. 😊
Always great service and good food. Don't be afraid to ask for something special, especially if you are a vegetarian or you want a smaller portion. They are very accommodating with dietary restrictions. Bricked chicken, salmon and pastas are all great.
We take advantage of locals night, Wed and Thurs. 20% off and no corkage fee. Friday is date night with price fix options. Highly recommend
Billy was totally awesome with his service and advice. Just a date nite and very nice ..Thanks Jim
Billy our server delivered again!! He is an asset to Lone Wolf Restaurant. He knows his job!!
My Wife and I went to the Lone Wolf Restaurant and stayed over at the Jackson Rancheria Hotel for our Wedding Anniversary. We had a great meal. My Wife had the Lobster and I had the Cioppino. It was great ! We went up to the Restaurant a couple of hours early and bought a bottle of wine. We were able to have a glass then and the rest of our bottle was delivered to our table for our dinner. We were pretty full, but, Ryan our waiter was nice enough to bring us a desert for our Anniversary. Ryan did a great job as our waiter. I would recommend the Lone Wolf for a little "special" occasion dinner.
Daughter wanted to eat at Lone Wolf for her Birthday. Only went due to her request. The previous times my husband and I ate at Lone Wolf the food was disappointing. We had a very expensive steak dinner at $45 per person. No salad or soup included. $9 extra for soup! Steak was not tender and came bloody. I had ordered the steak medium well done and had to send back two times to be recooked. Gave up on sending it back for a third try. Didn't even offer to compensate for the bad meals. This time I ordered salmon instead of steak and it came raw in the middle. Never had salmon cooked raw. Raw fish can make you sick. Sent it back and came back okay, but the Brussel sprouts were dry and hard. They did take the cost of my meal off the bill this time, because I mentioned the last time we ate there they did not. They do have good service, nice atmosphere, but terrible prices and food. Two years ago they had a very good serlion steak dinner and we would eat there often. They took it off the menu and everything has gone down hill since. They don't even use chicken breast meat in the dishes only thigh meat which is tough and not falvorfull. Also, if you don't make a reservation you will be turned away. Not fun to happen when you are at a Casino!
Great service by Billy. The fish and chips wete some of the best I have ever had. We had a wonderful time.
One of our favorite dining venues. Great food and service. Nice ambiance.
We always enjoy our meals at Lone Wolf. This particular meal was the Date Night meal on Friday night and it was outstanding. Best meal we've had in a very long time. Billy is always such a good server!
The Halibut was, overcooked and toomany conflicting flavors. Tomato was part of the sauce. Which does not go well with Halibut and Fennel.]
Good food and great service! Everyone in my family enjoyed themselves and the food! Would definitely recommend and we will be back!
Have been coming to the Lone Wolf since it opened
for special occasions and after gambling...
It is a long way from where we live and it is a special place
Enjoy the food--although the prices have gone up quite a bit..
The waiters and manager---very nice-special people
Wish they would put in a more moderate price range---the food is good, but
not worth some of the prices...
Will come back again
Billy our server was excellent as usual! Fillet was to die for. The Ahi was very special also. Just a lovely evening. Collin greeted us with such enthusiasum and always very gracious. James was also a great server, Thank You All for making our night!

We really enjoyed our Christmas Day dining at Lone Wolf! The ambiance is nice, the food really good and the service outstanding! We will be back!!
