For nearly 30 years, Tico Hoffman has delighted customers from Jackson and abroad with his unique blend of mouth-watering steaks, sumptuous seafood dishes and other local favorites. Tico’s friendly atmosphere and attention to every detail has made the restaurant a favorite for all who love exceptional food and drink.

A modern oyster bar focusing on Southern cuisine, highlighting fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables to share. Saltine, named as a nod to the plain cracker often served with seafood, pays homage to Jackson's rich history with oysters and seafood. Oysters are sourced from the Gulf of Mexico, east and west coasts and Canada and served raw, smoked, wood-fired and fried. Saltine also offers an extensive beer list with over 30 taps of craft beer, as well as a wide selection of rum and several signature cocktails. Lunch and dinner are offered daily with a brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Plus, happy hour specials daily from 4-6pm!

It had been 6 years since we’d been to MM Shapley’s as the first restaurant in Jackson we enjoyed before moving to the area. And 6 years later, it didn’t disappoint. My NY Strip was outstanding, my wife’s Filet was equally outstanding, our tamale appetizer was great and the home-made Parmesan-Peppercorn salad dressing, Au-Gratin potatoes, and creamed spinach were excellent. Service was fantastic with everything timed perfectly and the owner personally checked on our satisfaction. I regret taking 6 years to try MM Shapley’s again - it was wonderful then and even better now!
