- DDavidGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoTwo of us sat outside on patio with a musician. Service was EXCELLENT. Cocktail selection very very good. Food selections were excellent. Food was great with maybe an exception for the appetizers. Calamari was very sweet and tuna tartare was average. NY strip and the sea bass were beyond EXCELLENT and so was our side veggie. Wine by the glass could be upgraded, but wine by the bottle was as good as it gets though pricey as it is with all restaurants. Dessert and coffee very good. Ambiance excellent. Restaurant is gorgeous. Overall just excellent. Okay let's get to the prices. This is not a budget-priced restaurant ... it is upscale! It is not cheap but I feel it was very worth it! (Anyone can check the menu prices before they go.) The all-in cost for food and cocktails was what I expected it would be. I drink good wine so my bill was higher. There is a new steakhouse in Boston where this meal would have been 3 X as high! (Many of you may know the one I am talking about.) Bottom Line: Will return and can recommend!More infoPost 1917 SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Reading•4.7
- CCathyvipGreater Boston •43 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoEverything was very good. We shared a maki roll. Had mussels, a salad, and the haddock tacos. They were very good about making accommodations to make ordered items not spicy (were able to sub non-spicy crabmeat on the roll, and make the tacos without the jalapenos). Also, we each had an "inventive" cocktail that was well made. My only comment is that the coleslaw had too much mayonnaise and/or sour cream for our taste, but that's a personal preference.More infoSurf Restaurant - WoburnPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Woburn•4.7
- JJenniferSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI recently dined at Venetian Moon, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were seated right on time, and the ambience of the restaurant was truly impressive( didn't realize they had a whole other dining room down stairs), creating a perfect atmosphere for dinner. The drinks were phenomenal, complementing the meal perfectly. The food was of high quality and Phenomenal, making for an overall great dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable evening out!More infoVenetian MoonPrice: Expensive• Italian• Wakefield•4.8
