Stepney Restaurants

Fabulous food, everything we ordered was delicious, and beautifully presented, and the cocktails were lovely. Loud and buzzy atmosphere, good music. I booked a table in the restaurant, but found out after that we had been put in the lounge; I was fobbed off by the foh who then tried to tell me they class everything as restaurant, despite saying I’d been put in the lounge one minute before. The waitress was lovely, but foh staff could be more welcoming. On arrival, we were told we definitely wouldn’t be able to sit early as it was their busiest time and the bar service would be slow, and we might not want to go up early for a drink….we said we’d take a look. When we got upstairs, it was busy, but not horrendously so and was offered to sit at our table early.

Lovely and friendly staff. We were served by Jennifer she was very polite and professional. She had a smile on Her face throughout the service. Nice food it was really tasty we enjoyed it. Thanks also for the birthday chocolate. Well appreciated.

Incredible experience from beginning to end — I had made a note that my dining partner was visiting from Malaysia and they adorned the table with flowers in the colours of the Malaysian flag and even left a note saying they hoped he’d had a safe trip. Beyond thoughtful. I had no idea they had done this. Beyond that the service and food was beyond reproach and we went on the butchers night so got steak at the butchers price

This place never disappoints. A institution in the ever changing London’s restaurant scene, it serves up the most hearty and interesting food with the added bonus of knowledgable and friendly staff. And bone marrow was on the menu this time! My favourite! Thank you so so much for another wonderful evening

Only negative was that we felt rushed. Although understand as Saturday night.
