- KKevManchester/Greater Manchester •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoMy wife and I decided to revisit Darleys’s this evening for our wedding anniversary! We’ve visited here a fair few times and never been disappointed. But have to say the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing was bloody brilliant! Keep it up guys and can’t wait to return 🙏🙌👌 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️More infoDarleys RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Derby•4.5
- AAlanLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe enjoy adventurous, contemporary and imaginative food and that is why we enjoy dining at Stones. We are fortunate to have dined at some of the UK’s finest restaurants and although inexplicably Stones does not have Michelin stars it compares very favourably with some of its more salubrious counterparts. During the meal some delicious and unusual canapés, an amuse bouche, kitchen creations of fresh bread and flavoured butters, and petit fours are presented and fully described by the charming waiting staff. The staff are delightful, and I’d describe the menu as modern haute cuisine, which might put some diners off, please don’t let it! The taste combinations are incredible and although the plates aren’t overflowing, you will certainly be pleasantly replenished at the end of your meal. We love this family run restaurant which oozes charm, charisma and a friendly, relaxed casual vibe. Fabulous at lunchtime, or evenings and equally sensational at either end of the day. Book it, and decide for yourselves. Absolutely amazing for a celebration meal or just as a treat.More infoStones Restaurant MatlockPrice: Expensive• British• Matlock•4.9

- AAndrewPerthshire/Stirlingshire •1 review4.0Dined 7 days agoWe booked a table for 3 but at short notice this changed to 5 and although not impressed with the increase in numbers as I advised them within 8 minutes including queueing to get in of me finding out a table was kindly provided They were very busy so we were lucky and ordered food asap knowing there was a 30 minute wait turned into 45 this gave us chance to catch up with family The noise level was quite high in a happy and vibrant way so an enjoyable place to be. Food was perfectly cooked and worth the wait. Full English with Halumi a GF full English breakfast, Poached eggs on sourdough and thick sourdough toast with jam Coffees were good. Tea good and fresh orange tasty. Staff were pleasant and welcoming after initial shock of extra persons added Good meal had with family so thank you.More infoBEAR AshbournePrice: Moderate• Café• Ashbourne•4
