Ambiance is lovely, live gentle music with a beautiful view. Staff is very friendly. Service is slow. Over 30 min for drinks alone. Drinks are overpriced and very small. Food is decent. Steak was delicious, cooked perfectly. Fettuccine was sweet and did not taste like garlic. I added a lot of salt… won’t order that again. I was hoping to be wowed because of the high end style of resort, sadly that wasn’t the case. You pay for the ambiance rather than delicious food. But overall it was a nice experience. I think the ambiance and the friendly staff are what save this place. I heard a lot of people complaining about the wait time. One family was there over an hour and hadn’t gotten their food. Don’t go when you’re really hungry or have small children or if you hate waiting.

We had a great time at Cafe Cruz!!! We were seated outside the main dining room, but not on the patio. This was the perfect place to sit because it has a romantic feel, but it's also less noisy. Thank you to Cafe Cruz for the wonderful seats. The food was outstanding!!! We had the Crab Cakes for the starter, which were phenomenal!!! For the entrees, we had rotisserie chicken and the Pacific Swordfish. Both of these were absolutely amazing choices. Overall, it's a truly great restaurant!!! I would highly recommend it to anyone.

As locals, we don’t often get to the touristy spots. Decided to try again after many years. Food was excellent! Much better than a few years ago. They have embraced the farm to table ideology, which I prefer. The flatbread is a must! Knife and fork appetizer and flavor is phenomenal! Heirloom tomatoes were Cherokee purple (my favorite). The halibut was amazing! Pasta, again, phenomenal. Try the ice cream trio, if you have room! The miso, peanut was amazing! am very picky about eating out. The dishes had such a clean ingredient deck! Felt as if all the sauces were made in-house, not from a restaurant supply. Not pretentious, very comfortable. Though it was a very foggy night (I love the fog) not a bad seat in the house! Looking forward to returning very soon!
