It was our daughter's birthday, she had a list of places she wanted to try and Barbarellas was on it! So we made a reservation there. It was beautiful when we walked in, atmosphere was great. Lots or room and options to sit. The food was so good! I tried things I have never wanted to try! They even had a little card on the table signed by all the staff, for her birthday!! We will be back! Wonderful family style dishes, big portions and delicious eats. We had a blast watching the chiefs at the counter. A bit of a tight space for seats but service was as attentive as they could be for the packed crowd.

We were greeted soon as we walked in. Taken to a table quickly our server was very pleasant and engaging. Drinks and Food arrived quickly and was soooo delicious!

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Major Tom, and let me tell you—it was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we made our reservation to the time we walked out the door, everything screamed top-notch service and class. The staff? Absolute pros. Special shoutout to our amazing waiter, Tash, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home and patiently guided us through the menu. We trusted her recommendations blindly, and wow, did she deliver! Now, let’s talk about the food and drinks. We kicked off the evening with cocktails, and they were spot on—balanced, refreshing, and full of flavor. For the mains, we opted for pasta and steak, both of which were perfection on a plate. Perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and generously portioned. And the grand finale? Their signature dessert, which wasn’t just worth the hype—it exceeded it. But what truly sets Major Tom apart is its unmatched ambience. Perched on the 40th floor with jaw-dropping views of Calgary’s skyline, the restaurant doesn’t rely on the scenery alone. The interior design is equally breathtaking. The lighting, color palette, music, and even the acoustics are meticulously crafted to create a luxurious yet cozy vibe. It’s an atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. Major Tom is the perfect blend of elegance, flavor, and impeccable service—a true gem in Calgary’s dining scene.
