Food, atmosphere and service were phenomenal. We ordered the 2 Japanese waygu steaks cooked medium rare to perfection and just melted in the mouth. The sides and accompanying butters were delicious and all presented like a michilan star restaurant. Wine list is incredible and our bottle of Lakes Foly was to die for. Gabbi looked after us and our every need with a smile and gorgeous prowess. Will dine again and recommend to anyone looking for a steak and dinning experience in Newcastle.

After a great renovation, finally being opened after the flood, it was great to be back in the pub. The food was great, as my son said “ the best steak he had in ages”. I had the pasta and it was just as delicious. We have booked for his next birthday and will probably be back before then.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Iron Gate, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for a perfect evening. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with quality.

Autumn rooms is an awesome spot. Food is always great and service is attentive. I begrudge that they charge a “weekend” service charge even on a Saturday so I doubt I will dine there again on weekends but it’s definitely a place I always come back to.
