- KKarenRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •11 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 21, 2025We loved The Gamekeeper. Courtesy Valet Parking was a plus! The entire experience was lovely. We had a wonderful table with a bench seat covered in pillows. Perfect for those on the shorter stature. Twinkling lights and impressive wildlife adorn the walls and beams. Tonya was our server and loved her. She was very helpful and attentive. We started with a glass of wine. We decided to share the scallop first course. While I loved the scallops, the peas were the best I have ever had. I had the bouillabaisse and my husband had the mixed grill as his meal. We both chose perfectly. We recommend reservations although they said they could accommodate some walk ups. Mike had a chasescake to go and said it was wonderful. We hope to return another day!More infoBayou Smokehouse & GrillPrice: Moderate• Cajun• Banner Elk•4
