   As a table of 8 on Christmas Eve, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal with excellent food, service and ambience. Portion sizes are adequate and work well for a larger group ordering dishes to share, although this might prove an expensive approach for couples. All in all, a good quality restaurant with food that comes close to more prestigious (and pricey) competitors in the centre of town.

   I used to eat here regularly in the late 90s. Then the food seemed very fresh, I remember honeyed pork, stirfried veg freshly cooked. Lovely spices, which Nancy had blended herself. We had a massive dish of tempura veg which was fresly cooked but not very delicate, and the squid we ordered for a main course and the noodles were the smallest helpings I have seen. The satay.. Peanut tofu was very good, the sizzling beef was awful I missed the fresh cooking we had when this restaurant was smaller and Nancy ruled it. The service was friendly . I think the food has been europeanised over much and lacked spiciness and flavours it used to have.

   So I went to this restaurant last Wednesday (10 Dec) with two girlfriends. It was a reunion...we ordered prawn crackers, spare ribs and prawns to start. The menu said something about lemon on the prawns (I guess my taste buds didn't register the fact). Suggestion, a little spice (pepper to give the prawns a kick may help). My friend said the spare ribs needed more seasoning e.g. some salt. We ordered three dishes - pork, chicken and lamb with some steamed jasmine rice. I promptly asked for some salt! The main course was definitely better than our starters (I would recommend the sizzling lamb; although a more generous portion would be great). We skipped dessert. One of us had to walk up to the bar to ask for the bill (after waiting for a while). My card was on the table as well as some cash as we waited patiently to pay our bill. One of us went out for a smoke break and still no one came up to our table. We started to wonder if our meal was FREE...at this point there were only three occupied tables (they were seated well after we arrived). They managed to receive and settle their bills before us! I then began to wave my card in the air; only to be told that they weren't aware that we were ready to settle the bill and had in fact been waiting for us! How much more obvious could we have been? Anyway, I said that we had chosen to dine here based on the reviews and immediately our hostess went on about how I shouldn't try to scare them; that they have been in existence for over 30 years; and that I could write what I liked! And so I said again that it was our first time here and we had come because it was highly recommended...well did she carry on...She could have handled that better and so I can only assume that it was a genuine misunderstanding/misinterpretation of what I said. Or could it be that with the millions of potential diners in London; this restaurant is only interested in serving you once?

   We enjoyed out meal, the fun decor, friendly staff and straightforward menu. Lacked a bit of atmosphere compared to other similar restaurants.

   A very friendly restaurant, who remember regular customers. The dishes are quite generous, so it would be possible to share most of them

   If you look at the menu for Enak Enak you might be think standard fare, but there is something really special about the dishes that come out of Nancy's kitchen. The flavours that Nancy is able to infuse and the quality of the products used are beyond reproach. Each time you visit try something different, you will not be disappointed. Service is outstanding.

   booked purely based on reviews, the food and service were outstanding but the atmosphere in the restaurant was lacking, defo would be a great place if decoration was updated and a bit more effort put into the atmosphere. Wasn't really the experience I was expecting for a special occasion.

   It was quite quiet in the restaurant on the night we went, but still had a nice warm ambience. Good food flavours and quite a few vegetarian options which was good.

   Wanted to go there with my friend for ages. Being a coconut mad, I haven't been disappointed. Great food, very good wine.

    The food was outstanding and staff very attentive. I had no idea there is such a gem Clapham. I would recommend to anyone!
