Spent our anniversary at Muriel’s. We were hoping to eat outside because of the pandemic, but the evening was rainy, so we ate inside. I felt very safe. All were masked. Tables were distant and also set apart with barricades. We went early enough that the room only had one party when we arrived.
Service was fantastic. The food was delicious. We ate the shrimp and goat cheese crepes. I could have ordered more of these. Smoothly. Tangy sauce. Amazing. My husband had the gumbo which he enjoyed almost as much as my crepes. Dinner consisted of the double pork chop and the filet mignon. The filet had cheese potatoes and mushrooms with asparagus. The pork chop had a delicious sauce, with veggies and rice dish. Yum. For dessert we had the creme brûlée. They treated us to an extra ice cream (with a candle), so thoughtful. Definitely will go back, so many options we want to try but will definitely have the crepes again!
Amazing food and friendly staff. We were also able to walk around the building to tour their beautiful rooms. Highly recommend!
Awesome as always and staff is second to none!
This place a phenomenal!! The food was delicious and the service was excellent!! Everyone is so friendly. We are going back there for sure!
Thanksgiving set menu was good. Family of 4 happy with the choices. Pork turned out to be really not to our liking, was easily subbed with the beef. Overall a good experience, even with covid and other stuff going on.
The best Thanksgiving dinner we have had since moving to New Orleans 5 years ago.
We had a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner. The building is very historic. Be sure to ask your waiter to show you around. The food was cooked perfectly. We got filet mignon that was very thick and cooked medium rare. It melted in our mouth. The shrimp and goat cheese crepes were amazing, so was the mushroom gnocchi. We had the bread pudding and the strawberry brownie for dessert! Don't skip dessert! It was amazing!!
Very Memorable, will highly recommend for friends and family. A visit upstairs is a must do!
The food was amazing!!!! The service was wonderful. I’ll definitely be back for our next special occasion.
Service and food was mild
Very touristic place
Lower your expenses
Great New Orleans restaurant. Highly recommend. Will be going more often.
Great food and service
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner! Excellent food and service! Had a beautiful table on the balcony, so romantic. Every staff member told us happy anniversary and even gave us complimentary champagne at the end. I highly recommend Muriel’s for every occasion!
Had a great meal and Anthony (our server) was wonderful! Will return. The steak and salmon were both wonderful. Very good bread pudding as well.
We went for a Birthday. We were treated like royalty. The shrimp crepes were amazing!
We took our teenagers there for the first time and the loved it!! Great food and great service!
Crepes are excellent.
Limited food choices.
As always, Muriel’s was amazing. Great food, great service, and overall lovely experience. Highly recommend it.
Muriels is always absolutely amazing. Ambience is wonderful and the story behind the building is so cool. We always come here for our fancy date night in Nola and it never disappoints.
We had the most amazing experience. The wait staff was incredible.
Love coming here! The food is awesome, service is awesome!
We had dinner with 5 other friends. As always, Muriel's was excellent!! Great service, excellent food and fantastic atmosphere!! And the bartender can make awesome cocktails!! We will be back of course :).
Sit on the balcony. This was a dining experience to remember.
The food and service were outstanding. We will be going here again in the future.
Food and service were fantastic!
Very nice interior and well done. It would be an outstanding restaurant if the food matched the ambiance. The balcony and bar was great! Extremely disappointed with the food. My spouse had the filet and it was chewy and the chicken was over cooked. We didn’t even bother with ordering desert. The wine list was very limited for a fine dining experience. We will go back for drinks at the bar, but won’t return for dinner.
The food here was absolutely amazing. My husband is still talking about his pork chop. We can’t wait to come back!
We were celebrating a 60th birthday and this was an excellent venue for the celebration. The food and service was very good.
During this time of COVID, the food and service were still of the highest quality. We have always enjoyed dining at Muriel's and this evening was perfect. We appreciate the new hanging art room dividers they have created. The beautiful artwork are a nice addition to their beautiful dining room.
What a wonderful place to enjoy a perfect dinner! This place is filled with spooky history and it’s one of the best meals we had in NOLA. Ask to see the seance room upstairs!
Very great food and fantastic ambience. Would greatly recommend!
First time there and now at the top of my list!! Everything we experienced was above our expectations!
There was some slight difficulty finding my reservation. The restaurant is gorgeous. The staff is friendly. The red snapper was perfect. The Risotto was a 5 out of 5. But, that's speculative because I think it's a matter of approach and where you're from in the world. I prefer a firmer risotto, so this was perfect for me. The Gumbo, Turtle soup & creme brulee are second to none. I recommend this restaurant vs Commanders Palace if you have to choose one. They're also doing an amazing job with pandemic disease prevention. Definitely worth the money.
The restaurants ambience is very nice, outside dining was also very nice. Waiters were very attentive. Wine list was very good. Crepe appetizer was good. Steaks were just okay. Bread pudding was also just okay. Please understand we eat out quite a bit at very good restaurants so maybe we are a bit picky.
We had the crepes for an appetizer, the red snapper and for dessert the flourless chocolate cake. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Looking forward to going back. Would highly recommend.
The staff was so kind. They moved us to n outdoor table, upon request. We did arrive early, to make this request. The service was so great, and they gave us free desert to celebrate our anniversary!
Jakob and Anthony took excellence care of my friend and me! They were attentive, engaging, and just nice people!
The food was delicious and served at the appropriate temperatures, and the drinks were a total treat—totally appropriate for Halloween time!
Best dining experience from the service to the food! Definitely worth visiting!
This was the best meal of my and my husbands life. Every bite was a moan. We bothe got the 3 course meal for $44. He got wedge salad, pork chop, creme brulee and I got goat cheese crepes, shrimp and grits and bread pudding. OMG
