Amazing food, service, and ambiance! Amazing New Orleans experience! The shrimp crepes, shrimp and grits, steak, and dessert was amazing!!!
Beautiful restaurant and a lovely meal. Desserts and drinks were also outstanding and the service was amazing. Would definitely visit again and recommend it to others!
Very enjoyable experience. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Very nice decor.
Great customer service and food! When I come home this will be my first stop.
Muriels house salad was amazing
Onion Tart was excellent
“Filet of Beef” overcooked and tough
Bread pudding was phenomenal
Service Waiter David was exceptional
Overall experience was hurt by a bad steak but I would definitely go back and give them a second try.
Just annoyed that we were dressed nice, other people were not and he was told to remove his hat.
Vacation and special dinner with my daughter
Their chef’s really knows how to cook seafood. I had the red snapper with risotto and my wife had their salmon. Both were outstanding.
Great food. Cool seating on balcony.
Great ambience in the patio overlooking Jackson Square. Service was a tag team and always attentive. Appetizer of crepes was great, snapper was cooked just right, shrimp and grits was tasty, and deserts also very good. Highly recommended, best meal we had in NOLA.
From the hello to see you later service was such a great experience. We were celebrating our one year Anniversary. We had a perfect view of Jackson square. We had the red snapper dish which was delightful and portions were plenty. Would definitely go back!
We had such an amazing dinner we booked for the very next day. Ryan was very attentive and the food was spectacular. We had an amazing view of Jackson Square and the ambience we perfect for our anniversary dinner. Huge thanks for such a magical evening!
First time celebrating a birthday here. Service was great and welcoming!
We had Phillip for our waiter. Was a great experience. Excellent service and the food was incredible.
Muriel's never disappoints. The food is well-prepared, with flair and expertise. Our table was in a great part of the restaurant. They have put partitions up to separate tables by the window. It was a great experience!
Pretty typical French Quarter dining experience. Food quality was good. Service lacked the personality of other Quarter establishments.
We had 6 people in our party. Our waiter/waitress were very attentive and worked together as a team. Most of us ordered off of the price fixe menu. This was a GREAT deal. We had LOTS of choices (not just the basic stuff). Everything came out hot and was seasoned perfectly. I highly recommend Muriel's and will DEF be back. My only complaint was I thought the drinks were a little pricey at $11 each for a small cocktail. Next time I'd pass on the liquor and stick with iced tea or cokes.
Wonderful experience. Great staff and ambiance. The food was great, I loved the bread pudding.
Muriel's is a great place for upscale dining. I had the salmon and my partner had the pork chop -both were outstanding! The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Excellent cocktails and desserts! We had the bread pudding and creme brulee - hands down the best we have ever had.
We asked the server about the ghost that resides there. She said the ghost pushed her down the stairs. She then spilled 2 cokes on our table. We think it was the ghost who knocked it from her hands. It was very delicious and fun.
As tourists, we could find food everywhere in the French Quarter, but nothing we ate was as wonderful as Muriel's. The atmosphere was that of fine dining but the prices were moderate. Service was fast amd attentive.
They sat us in a very secluded area looking into the table set for the resident ghost. I ordered the porkchop exactly to the waiter's reccomendation. I am a man, but the first bite literally made me cry. I had not ever tasted such flavor on any other meat dish and spent each remaining bite mourning the thought that eventually I would have to take a last bite and there be no more.
We arrived early and were seated in the bar until our reservation time. Being happy hour we enjoyed a couple white wine sangrias. We challenged the bartender to make a cocktail for us and he delivered. Dinner was wonderful, seated window side. Food was delicious and service was quick and friendly.
Beautiful ambiance. Great service. Food is delicious.
From the moment we were greeting until we left the restaurant the experience was phenomenal. Luis was our server and he was most informative about the menu and introduced Muriel's French 75 with a twist for us. The food was cooked to our specifications and social distancing was strictly adhered to.
We eat at Muriels every year when we make our annual trip to NOLA. Obviously we love the place. Already thinking about next year.
Wonderful meal during restaurant week. Service was excellent and we enjoyed the surroundings.
I brought my girlfriends to my favorite restaurant in the Quarter! They loved everything about it. The precautions, the service, the food, and even the signature tour at the end! We ended our night with cocktails on the balcony overlooking Jackson Square. Thank you to everyone that we met. We all said we will be back soon!
First visit here at Murial’s. Sat on the balcony. Very nice drinks. All the food was very good. Service was good
The food was delicious, and was reasonably priced. The service was excellent. I recommend trying the rum runner if you enjoy a sweet cocktail (we tried several).
the food was superb and the wait staff couldn't have been more friendly and top notch.
Flew to New Orleans for my mother’s 58th birthday. First trip since having my son (9 months) and first trip since covid. It was also my sons first time in a restaurant. As nervous and stressed as I was, Matt made me relaxed and was just beyond helpful and pleasant. It’s literally the little things that help relieve stress of a mother. The food was beyond amazing!!! The salad... the fish.... the bread pudding.... the drinks.... AMAZING!!!
Matt, thank you for your hospitality and generosity and your overall helpfulness!!!
Always a great meal!
This is my second trip to New Orleans and Muriels has become the must stop! The ambience and feel is so unique and fits the New Orleans vibe. The food is AMAZING. This past visit I ordered the shrimp and grits. Best description, mouth watering. One of my favorite meals ever and I travel regularly all over the US and overseas. This is worth it to make time for dinner or lunch.
We had a absolutely amazing time for my boyfriends birthday. The coolinary menu was very fun and delicious
This was an incredible experience. Both Jakob and Allan gave extraordinary service and the food was delicious! The ambience is SO cool and exactly what you’d want from a New Orleans night out. Can’t wait to come back!
Bartender made great drinks and he was very friendly
Wait staff, maitre d' also very welcoming and efficient
food was great-loved the coolinary menu!!
Sat out side on the balcony, enjoyed the bustle of Jackson square slowly starting to come back. Both did the coolinary menu, was very good at a great price.
We sat on the balcony with the candlelight, the atmosphere was great. The food however was a complete let down. It was a Coolinary menu which had good value. We were able to choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $39 per person. Unfortunately, nine of the dishes were memorable. I have had much better food at other restaurants in the Frencgh Quarter.
Everything was great, as always. My gumbo was delicious and the bread pudding was the best ever. Service was excellent. Everyone was masked and the place was very clean. A perfect place for a celebration. And parking lot next door is so convenient.
Love the atmosphere and the ghost stories
