Mulligans on the Blue
Live Entertainment Nightly
Home of The Best Dinner Show on Maui with Willie K on most Wednesdays.
Terrible service and terrible food.
Mediocre food. Wait staff was spread thin. Our waitress did her best to keep up.
Food’s okay, the place is pretty tired, especially with the doors/windows closed. Much warmer feeling on a sunny day. The Rainbow Eucalyptus tree in behind the “wellness centre” is worth a walk around.
The celtic band was awesome!!
Had three people waiting on 100 people and we were told that is normal for them. Long waits for service and food and the food was not real good
The magic show was great! The kids loved it! The wait staff was a little overwhelmed but food was excellent - my favorite meal of the trip!
Love the authentic atmosphere of this Irish pub, and the Reuben Quesadilla is delicious!
We loved Mulligans! I was hesitant because I read some negative reviews after I booked our reservation.
What a pleasant surprise!
Maybe I shouldn’t have given the food 5 stars because it’s casual, comfort food. If you’re in Maui for an extended period of time though, you will appreciate the change.
I had the lamb stew and it was awesome! Meet was so tender without fat attached to pieces. Veggies in stew were perfect. My husband had shepherds pie and it was very good.
I actually had lamb chops at Ruth Chris this trip and
had to “spit out” fatty pieces. Considering the price difference, I would choose Mulligans!
We went on a night that the live music was jazz. The band was very good and people were dancing . We sat outside, so it wasn’t too loud.
Service was good .
Fantastic food - 2 of us had the Irish stew, 1 had shepherd’s pie, and 1 had mahi-mahi - all very delicious and reasonably priced. Fun and relaxed atmosphere in beautiful grounds. Live entertainment was really good. Will be back!!
Great tacos to start & Shepard’s pie main but ribs were tough. Service was slow but waiter polite & attentive
The magic show on Tuesday night is amazing! Such a fun thing to do, and great food too.
Lovely vista overlooking the bay but charmless venue, less-than-mediocre food and loud blaring country music (in an Irish pub) over lunch with only four other patrons in the restaurant. Skip it. At least for lunch.
An hour after we used my credit card at Mulligans there were 6 fraudulent charges on that card.
I’m not saying who was to blame but my phone call to the owner has not been returned.
I don’t expect anything from them but I just wanted to inform them what happened so they could see if it’s a pattern.
Always a good time. Food is improved since last year. Service needs a bit of polishing.
Lovely dinner on the lanai at sunset. Who could ask for more?
We were excited to try this restaurant and listen to a great Irish band but honestly the only good part was the band and the fact that you are in Wailea. The food was honestly terrible. My daughter and I had the Shepard's Pie (which is one of my favorite foods) and it was so over salted it was nearly inedible. 3 of my kids ordered the chicken strips for $13.00. They received 3 chicken strips that I am pretty sure are the same ones I get frozen from Costco. Fries were an additional $5.00 and my teenagers didn't eat them because they were "gross". My husband said his corned beef and cabbage was pretty good. The service was awful. We were there on a Sunday night and we had a reservation. The guy who seated us was oddly rude, almost as if he was playing a role. Our waitress was very nice but the place was very busy and they were severely understaffed. We went without water and drink refills. We would have stayed and enjoyed the band but not without drinks and munchies. It was just a real let down. It fell under one of the "must- do's" while in Wailea and I am very unsure how it got that status. I would not go again.
The service was horrible. I assume they were short staffed but that should have been explained at some point during the evening. We had reservations at 6:30 and did not get a drink or menu until 7:15. As the customer, I felt like they were annoyed to have us there even though we were being extremely patient and polite. On a positive note, the entertainment was wonderful and kept us entertained during our lengthy wait....
Walking up to hostess counter for seating was not friendly AT ALL. Four in our party with reservations , hostess walked away didn’t say a word and only had two menus. Left us at table without a word. Sat there for 15 mins and nobody even came over. We got up and left.
Mulligans was out of two things my daughter tried to order. She then ordered the fish and chips and said they were ok not something she would order again.
No hostess. Seating is up in the air. Only given 2 menus for 4 people. Had to get up to get 2 more. Food slow to arrive tho very empty. Food was ok.
This place amazing. The music was wonderful as always. This is our third time visiting Maui and we never miss coming here. Just check the calendar to make sure they have live music on the day you visit. My son is 18 and this is his favorite place.
Quesadilla was overcooked, mostly onions, a little red pepper and a couple of dried out pieces of chicken. Server was friendly.
Poor food selection and treatment by waitress. Got an apology and said both of these issues were because they had a large party. Which shouldn't be a reason to neglect food and service.
Irish bar that gives you atmosphere, food and drink you would expect, including Shepards pie, Guiness and Irish whiskey. Menu is small but diverse enough. Friendly servers. Unlikely setting for a pub...on golf course with view to ocean.
Willie K was just awesome.
Travis was a joy. Going to be a GREAT server.
Great food and great service. Great view of the Maui coastline. Great outdoor seating
I attend Mulligan's fairly regularly, mostly for special events and live music. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. Wish there was a little bit larger area to accommodate more people on the dance floor but other than that it's a great venue.
We saw Brenton's magic/comedy. He was great.
Server was awesome! Potato tacos a must.
They were out of half the things on the menu. People there and staff were rude. Magic show was ok.
We were there for dinner and ordered Fish‘n Chips, the worst ever. A Beer batter has to be thin and crispy, this one was thick like a Pizza dough, nothing to do with Beer Batter. Inside we found a small piece of dry fish, most possibly
frozen fish. As Europeans often in UK, we are used to eat the Original fish’n Chip in Beer batter.
The scenery on the terrasse was nice and the service
Loved the Live music and dancing! Food was amazing and staff was excellent!
The food and service was good for pub fare. The location was nice, the building is definitely tired.
The wait staff recommended the corned beef and cabbage, and the dish was very good, especially with the sauce. I would definitely have it again!
My wife and I have been here 3 times now. We have always loved the food. Our personal favorite is the bangers and mash delicious every time.
There are nices views of the ocean from the outside seating area. Also live music is played quite often, twice that we have been there, just check with the restaurant.
To top it all off I think they have some really reasonable pricing for Maui!
Great sports bar!
Went to Mulligan's for their live music (a Celtic band) on Sunday night. Music was great. Venue was also great - not fancy - but friendly and it was easy to hear the music on the porch, without being right on top of the musicians. Good selection of beers on tap. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that great. We started with a salad which was fresh and had a tasty dressing. My wife had Fish and Chips which was good. The hand-cut fries were perfect. I had the ribs (maybe I should have stuck with a more traditional Irish dish), which were tender but the sauce had a strange flavor, which I think may have been curry. Strange flavors for BBQ sauce. We then had the homemade apple pie for dessert. This was overcooked and had so much cinnamon you couldn't tell that you were eating applies - more like little bricks of cinnamon. If I were to recommend someone to this place, I would suggest sticking with their meat pies or corned beef and cabbage - perhaps they will be better than what we had.
Terrible waitress. Couldn’t be bothered to help. Restaurant was out of multiple kegs of beer including the Kilkenny’s we drove from Kapalua to find. Bangers and Mash were fine, the Chicken mac n cheese was average.
You don't go here for the ambiance, since it is a pretty plain place. However, if the weather is nice, it can be pleasant sitting on the deck. The food is basic Irish style bar food at a reasonable prices. The portions are large and all of our meals were very good. Corn-beef dinners, fish and chips and burger were suprisingly good. The night we were there, Mulligan's had a magic show and the crowd ( which had a good amount of kids) seemed to really enjoy it. Back to the ambiance: the tables weren't set, initially the server seemed slow and overwhelmed, but our food and subsequent drinks came in a timely fashion. The banister along the front stairs wobbles.
The MAgic show is so much fun for families! The food is LARGE portions! GREAT PLACE when on MAUI!
