Always special, the creme brûlée and ice cream profitteroles, amazing!
Outstanding overall dining experience! Food, service, ambience and excellent value. A must visit destination spot while visiting the French Quarter.
Food as always was great. Food service was a bit lackluster with our original server disappearing for the last hour of the meal and service being handled by a combination of several other servers with dirty plates on the table for half an hour. The drink service was very good however with waters never empty and refills always coming.
The BBQ shrimp and the salad were very good. The gumbo yaya was very disappointing but really enjoyed the seafood gumbo...thought they were overpriced for such a small portion. Service started off impeccable and then sort of forgotten at times.
One of the top 3 or 4 spots in New Orleans for authentic creole food. French quarter location makes it convenient for travelers.
Food was delcious, kinda of crowded still enjoyed it, get the BBQ shrimp
5 year anniversary
It was great. They went out of their way to give us a great experience. I can’t say enough about how amazing it was.
It was my birthday. Our table was decorated with balloons and I got a complimentary dessert with a candle in it. The food was wonderful as always. Ya ya gumbo and bbq shrimp. Plus a mysterious stranger paid our entire bill.
Lovely restaurant staff and great food!
Any time We’re in New Orleans we make it a point to visit Mr. B’s at least once. This trip I decided to make a reservation for our last night in town. I did so because I knew that no matter wht we’d be ending our trip with a great New Orleans dining experience. As luck would have it we arrived in town early enough to go the first night as walk in guests. I can honestly say I would do the same again in the future. Great food, drinks and even better service.
Mr Bs was a bustling restaurant with servers running all over the place. Food was locally oriented, good, and service was very quick. We were warned about the shelling experience with the unshelled shrimp on one of the entrees, and when the shelling became too formidable, we were able to get their attention and they shelled it for us. Great for a non leisurely meal with good food.
Although the food was good there are much better choices for the money if you are a foodie. If you would like the standard reliable New Orleans shrimp and grits this is a good place to go. Unfortunately the wait staff failed to do some things that we had requested and although they were very polite again compared to many of the restaurants available these folks are just average
Great food and service but so noisy that a conversation at a table for 4 was difficult. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable evening and our servers Clarence and Terrance were great.
This was my third time to Mr. B’s (second for Sunday brunch). Great food & great service. We had the filet & eggs and shrimp & grits. My girlfriend was given bread pudding with a candle for her birthday. Nice little touch.
The place was packed, the service disinterested and the restaurant living in past glories. A recommendation I wish I’d not taken up
I love it. The best. The service and food are spectacular.
The deliciousness of the food has not disappointed over the years. Servers were attentive and the Host relocated us to a quieter area of the restaurant.
Get what you pay for. Filet was top notch. BBQ shrimp is good but messy
Errol, Doug & Keith took very good care of us! Loved the Mr. B’s BBQ Shrimp!
The fried oysters are the BEST in Nola. My husband had the veal Milanese and it melted in your mouth. The service was impeccable as usual. We visited each timr we are in New Orleans.
Tasty food and outstanding service can be expected at Mr. B's Bistro. The Jambalaya with fettuccine was delicious, and the wait staff of three assigned to my table was most attentive. Bread served in a bag was also excellent.
I would definitely return to Mr. B's the next time I am in New Orleans, as there were many other entrees I would like to try. This restaurant is an excellent choice for a meal in the French Quarter.
Very disappointed with the shrimp and grits. It was very DRY. I always order this when I come to Mr. B's and it was not good yesterday.
Awesome service, excellent food! Always my first stop for dinner in nola!
One of our favorites when visiting NOLA. Food and service never disappoint!
We love NOLA and come here often. Mr B's has some of the best food in the city. Great takes on the classics (like the NOLA BBQ Shrimp, their version defines the dish), amazing cocktails, great service, and an elegant environment. If you want the best of modern Creole, this is it!
Excellent food and service
Mr. B's never disappoints. The food was really good, and the service was also.
Red beans and rice was excellent! We also ordered the bbq shrimp, which was messy but delicious!
We never go to New Orleans without a stop at Me B’s. Staff is attentive & friendly. Food is OUTSTANDING!! The BBQ shrimp are a must!!!!
Very good food but our food service was slow. Did not explain why after we asked if they'd lost
My OpenTable points card was not accepted and now I’m worried it’s lost forever
Consistent as always. The Ya-Ya is one of the best gumbo in town. Swordfish was excellent.
The food at Mr. B’s is always on point. I’ve been many times and all dishes have been excellent. It is a “busy” place. If possible, try not to be seated by the bar area. When they are crowded, the bar area fills and spills over into the dining area i.e. my daughter and I kept getting bumped in the back with elbows and had people basically standing over us. Not exactly pleasant, but regardless, the food and service make any small nuisances worth it every time!
Our very attentive and polite waiter was very formal for such a casual ambiance. Noise level was a bit much. We loved the food and beverages however.
One of top 5 restaurants in New Orleans to visit while on vacation.
Mr. B’s never disappoints. BBQ shrimp is one of the best dishes in New Orleans.
I went for Sunday Brunch. It’s my favorite time to go because they have a Jazz Combo band that plays wonderful music. The food is always delicious.
