Great service from Brett and J C. Ambiance, especially on a chilly day, is perfect - the warm woods and soft lighting are are visually comfortable and attractive.

Very generous portion of fried oysters, excellent crab cakes; one of us found the pork chop a bit dry, but said he would still order it again.

A great location! They had a great wine selection and the food was great. Our waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable. I will definitely go back!

Alton and Brett were excellent servers. It was Mardi Gras weekend, even though it was cancelled. I thought it would have been more festive for the weekend. But overall, as always, the food was Devine and the service was exceptional! Thanks, Mr. B’s!

Pre Valentine Celebration

The Lobster Ravioli was sloppy. And unlike how it has been in past visits.

The food just isn’t as good as it used to be . My redfish was okay but my husband’s veal wasn’t cooked properly. The coating just fell off the veal when it was cut. I hate that. Maybe too much milk in the wash.

Considering the COVID-19 restrictions, the quality of service and food were as good as ever. I encourage anyone who can to support the employees of this and any other restaurant.

Wonderful birthday dinner for my husband - annual trip. Always wonderful service and food - well I have never had anything we didn’t like. From gumbo or duck egg rolls to New Orleans BBQ Shrimp, Redfish, Wedge salads to steaks. Mmmm and desserts - oh my! Bread pudding is amazing, icebox lemon pie Yum!

Food is really food. Only downside is they only have domestic wine choices.

Whenever my husband and I are in New Orleans we MUST eat at Mr B’s! This Virginia gal hasn’t found better shrimp and grits anywhere in the US! We’ve tried to find a comparable dish but it’s just not possible. We have never been disappointed by any of the food there but you seriously can’t beat the shrimp and grits with that spectacular red eye gravy! We will always come back to Mr B’s whenever we can.

Great food and service as usual. There was one table of guys whose language was obscene and loud. The staff should have noticed and said something.

If you’re not a fan of Cajun/creole... this is the place to go! Quality food every time we visit, and excellent fine dining service. Great wine list, and the filet with truffle butter was delish!

Staple in our lives for years. We hadn’t been in awhile and can’t imagine why. The duck spring rolls and gumbo yaya are to die for. They are both consistent and a must every time we go. I had the crab cake which is almost entirely crab meat, no fill. My husband always gets the bbq shrimp and was heaven. We were too full to order dessert but the kindest servers, Clarence and Kendrick brought us champagne to finish off the meal. We were celebrating our anniversary. We can’t wait to go back and sit wit these same gentleman. Fantastic food and service. One of New Orleans’ best by far.

Still the finest BBQ shrimp dish anywhere. Stephen, our waiter, was knowledgeable, friendly, and his recommendations for cocktails, sides, and dessert were spot on. Always leave here thinking just what a special place this is.

Mr. B's was a great experience, our waiters: Donald & Alton were great throughout the evening, they even had the table set with a birthday balloon for the person who's birthday we were celebrating! However, when it came to receiving the dessert, it took almost as long to receive that as it did our main course for dinner. We had a great experience until waiting for our dessert to arrive.

Food was excellent and the service was very good as always. One of my favorite restaurants.
