   The waitress had no idea about the menu or the wines, poor considering its reputation. She recommended a red wine that was light and fruity and was the heaviest wine I’ve ever had. The rum she recommended for my wife was like paint stripper. Never checked in on us after I sent the wine back. Poor really

   Beautiful restaurant in French Quarter. Celebrating mother day Brunch. I was slightly concerned as it is a big restaurant and was packed. We were seated immediately for our reservation. Our initial drinks were a bit of a wait but the brandy milkshake concoction was worth it! The food came quickly and was FANTASTIC! Crab cake was probably the best I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten a lot of them in my life. The duck pot stickers were melt in your mouth delight. We we were wowed! My shrimp and grits were decadent and delicious ! Our waiter Evan was excellent!! The champagne we ordered came quickly and the topper was the profiteroles, made to perfection. There was a lovely jazz trio that I could have listened to all day . Absolutely loved Mr Bs Bistro. If they are at this level at a major “holiday” brunch , I can’t even imagine the food on a regular day. I can’t give them enough stars or accolades. .

   My boyfriend and I were visiting from Seattle, Washington and I had made a reservation before we left home. We’ve never been and just took a chance. Now this spot here has one of the best servers hands down in the French quarter. Jermey was his name. He gave us the best southern hospitality we’ve experienced down here. The food was on so delicious. We had the bbq shrimp and bacon wrapped prawns and grits. Both dishes were a hit with us.

   Food and service were great, as usual. Both gumbos were very good. The crab cake was awesome. Mostly crabmeat.
