The experience was horrible! It took 50 mins to get our appetizer and a bowl of soup! People were being served before us. Finally got our dinner and i was not at all Impressed. Worst $100 ever spent!!

The service was great. The food was very disappointing. For the price we were expecting a good-sized portion maybe even a small salad but that was not the case. The portions were very small and the meal came with nothing except bread with very salty butter. We will not return.

We visited on Valentine’s Day and our anniversary. It started out great, beautiful restaurant and great menu. We ordered the calamari and halibut to be told that both of those items were unavailable. We then ordered the mussels, steak and salmon. after about 50 minutes waiting for our entrees to come out, the server said it was due to the steak being over cooked and he sent it back. I asked for a salad to share with my husband to hold us over and he brought us a Creme brulee instead. We also had to ask for him to refill our waters.. food was great once it came out but service was very poor. Pricey place should have better service.

Really disappointed. Made reservations for Valentine’s Day... immediately after our dinner me and my husband were outside in our car when we were greated by a security officer who banged his flashlight on our window, shone it in our faces made us get out of our vehicle took down our license plates and told us since we were not actually guests at the hotel we had to leave immediately or he was calling the cops- I kept repeating that we just had dinner in the hotel restaurant to check our reservation. That didn’t change anything. Super sad very expensive Valentine’s Day.

Food was good quality, but not enough variety for the money paid. Service was fair - hearth staff were disorganized and seemed stressed out. Would recommend trying to get into Broadmoor for brunch - this was our fallback when we could not get a reservation there. Mimosas made this brunch what I would have expected at a $30 Sunday brunch.

Amazing food and service. We had a great time. I even asked to be next to a window and that's exactly what table we got. Lovely experience

We went their for the Sunday brunch. Overall the food was just 'ok'. Was not a good value for the amount of money we spent. The view was fantastic however.

It was a real treat because it was not busy and we could take our time to visit.

We went to Mountain View Rest for an Anniversary Breakfast (Buffet). We have always loved the variety of foods & juices. We have always found it quiet and an enjoyable environment. This time they had two youth singing groups there and even tho we were wrapping up when the kids came in, it was still rather quiet. We have noticed that they have cut back on what is on their breakfast buffet, but still enough for good variety. I was a little disappointed that they did not recognize our special occasion. They used to include a "Happy Anniversary" or "Happy Birthday" note on our reserved table, but not this time. Oh well... Thanks for another great experience.

We’ve been here twice now. The first time was amazing. Comfort food expected, and that’s what we got, with yummy salads and desserts. The second time was supposed to be Italian food, and we took our friends there. And we’re expecting some kind of Italian foods. It ended up being Cajun food. Every day is a different buffet. Like comfort food on Saturday’s. Friday was supposed to be Italian food. Another day is Mexican. And so on. This time they had snapper fish with cream sauce. Grits and shrimp, Cajun chicken pasta, and corn on the cob. The food was good. But we had our hearts set on Italian. The desserts were good. They had beignets, pecan pie (the best), bread pudding in a bundt cake form. And macaroons. Overall it was yummy, I just wish they would get an actual correct sample menu of what’s going to be on the buffet. Or at least what type of food is going to be there. So we don’t set our hearts on one type of food and get something else. All in all I’d definitely recommend to a friend. Next time I’d just call and ask what’s going to be on the buffet.

Main course items were quite good. A little disappointed in the salad items. I thought the dessert selections were weak and lacked flavor. This was our 4th Christmas buffet and my sense was that the food presentations were the weakest. It almost felt like they really were not into making an effort to please the customer, but rather, they were going through the motions.
Of course, the price went up again. I just don’t think that we will be back for Christmas.

We were looking forward to a special dinner Christmas Eve. We were never told that the buffet which was $75 each would be over at 9 (our reservation was 8:30) Food was being removed from buffet while we were still seated, and very little dessert left. Had to ask for Wassall from back (already removed from line) and it was cold. Crab legs extremely dry and that is one item most looking forward to enjoying. Then told that gratuity already added to our check (only 2 of us). . We thought about not giving review, I feel everyone wanted to rush us through.... But can't totally fault them for wanting to get home to family. But we did not feel the buffet was worth the price considering the dining experience that was given to us. But to end on good note... Beautiful place, just wish our dining experience had been what we had hoped given the total price we paid ($194.00 total for 2of us) and experience was better
