Great service and great food. Would be willing to call it one of the best landlocked seafood places I’ve been to.
Great service ! Food was fantastic, everyone at this restaurant was lovely ! Noise level a bit high and seating next to family with small kids was rough , however overall we had the best time !!!!
We had a great dinner at Montauk Seafood Grill. It was actually the best restaurant/meal of our entire week in Vail. From the appetizer to the desserts, everything was fresh, delicious and well made. The waitress was very friendly and catered to all our needs. The ambience was great. They did a very good job spacing tables to keep people distant due to COVID. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I had a herb crusted pan seared halibut with a salad and whipped potatoes. It was delicious. Service was excellent.
A place that I always want to visit when I am in Vail
Great restaurant and great food the service good I love the
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Montauk Seafood Grill. I want to go back there and try other menu items.
Always a favorite when visiting Vail!
Amazing food! The star is the food, service was good but little ambiance.
Adam our server was outstanding! Food was out of this world. Sea Bass. Oysters. Tuna and a Wedge!
Hostess was terrible. She was very arrogant and disrespectful.
Super experience. Effervescent and knowledgeable server. Perfect timing. Delicious food.
Great food. Rude server.
We have been coming to Vail every year for the past 10 years. Last night, we ate at Montauk Seafood Grill. It is Vail’s best restaurant without a doubt.
Excellent Raw bar, every dish was cooked to perfection. Didnt enjoy the scallop dish, thought they were cooked perfectly. My new favorite restaurant in Vail, excited to return...really hope they continue to play with the menu.
Love this wonderful restaurant and amazing staff!
We were celebrating 2 family birthdays, though we didn’t need a particular occasion to eat at Montauk. As expected, our food was fabulous (filet, scallops, Chilean sea bass, seafood tower). Even our cocktails were fantastic. Paulina, our server, was amazing!!!
Pina our sever was amazing! Get the crab cakes!!!! Loved this place definitely going to come back soon.
We ate there two weeks prior and it was better then. But still good.
My wife’s birthday in Vail Co. We chose to go to Montauk Seafood Grill and had a wonderful experience from reservations, to greetings to the wait staff to the wonderful food we were served! Absolutely had a superb evening! Fresh well prepared seafood in a relaxed environment.
Try them out you will love the experience!
The food was ok, but not to our expectations. The tuna “signature dish” with veggies was less than impressive especially the vegetables.
If you want good seafood, this place did that well. Several types of oysters were offered, of which two USA based varieties were sampled. Followed by a bowl of mussels and broth with a cut loaf of fresh bread - yummy! Finished with a dinner of sea scallops from Maine and lots of fresh veggies topped with caviar. Very satisfying meal for in the middle of an alpine land.
Delicious food and very nice environment. Service was given only three stars because when entrées and dessert plates were both empty the plates were left on the table for 15-20 minutes and I had to request them to be removed. More attentive wine service would also be appreciated.
Reviews showed this to be a higher end and priced restaurant with $$$. My wife’s steak was ordered medium rare and came medium plus. My Chilean sea bass was over cooked as well. Not acceptable
The food was delicious! We had the king crab legs, oysters and the NY strip. Service was wonderful as well. We will be back!
Scallops cooked really well but unfortunately rather sandy. The pasta dish was perfectly cooked- al dente and crunchy veg but unfortunately the sand was a bit hard to get past.
The crusted halibut special - good quality and well cooked- was nice but could have done with a bit more flavor to the crust. The potato mash underneath was underwhelming and a bit too sweet.
Loved the warm rosemary bread- definitely recommend. But not so fond of the sweet butter - personal preference.
Portions were good size but would have preferred smaller portions and more flavor.
Nice yummy cocktails but the tequila jalapeño one was a bit too sweet also.
Service was very nice for a high end restaurant. Food came quickly. Did not feel rushed.
Great food, great service. Socially distanced well
Scheduled a 4pm reservation for after our last day of skiing at Vail. We we were the first ones there and were seated right away next to the window. For my wife, daughter and I, ordered mussels app, arugula salad, Rib eye special medium rare, and chicken tenders for daughter. The rib eye was ok, a bit tough at parts. Arugula salad and mussels were excellent. Our waitress was excellent.
Excellent food. Very expensive. Felt a little rushed.
Best Seafood! Love all the fresh gourmet sides. I would eat there every night if I lived here!
Rushed waiters goal is to turn tables. Food delivered before eating appetizers. Bill placed on the table, then asked if we would like dessert. In & out of this presumed high-end dining establishment in under 40 minutes. Won’t return.
Friendly, accommodating and the best seafood in town! The lobster and scallops were outstanding and service was great! Highly recommend!👍
Our server Chelsea was awesome!
Service was great! Halibut (grilled) excellent, sides good. Tower of seafood was good, some items very good and some good.
Outstanding food and service! Definitely recommend
We love Montauk. It’s a must for every Vail trip.
Great food and service - we showed up early for our reservation but got a table right away.
This place was amazing. The lobster tail was cooked to perfection. The server was on top of it and very friendly. Loved the interior decor and all the art.
Fantastic experience. Great food/drinks, attentive service and elegant setting without being too stuffy to bring your family. Highly recommend
