Amazing food...great atmosphere...overall great place to come for brunch or dinner. Highly recommended!
This is the 4th time we’ve come for brunch in the last six months. I’ve always appreciated the outdoor dining space at Momed - it makes me feel like I am ‘somewhere else’, like I’m on a vacation. And with the spacing and being outside, it’s felt safe coming here during these challenging times.
The staff is always top notch and Sunday was no different. We had excellent service.
We love your food and tried a few of the new items listed. Everything we ordered was excellent - two of us had the new green goddess scramble and loved it. I’m always impressed with your ability to make a healthy dish taste so good that it still feels decadent. We always get a couple of orders of the Beghrir pancake as that’s definitely not something you find on every menu and they’re so damn good and not overly sweet. Yum. The French press coffee was a great addition.
We will most definitely be back.
Maybe it's the high of rarely being out in the world anymore but our experience at Momed was wonderful. The space is so lovely and conducive to Covid precautions. Our server was kind and communicative. The food was incredible (still dreaming about the short rib tagine). Even enjoyed the train that comes through occasionally; it adds a little thrill to the dining experience. Would love to return.
Amazing patio dining experience. Great service. Ideal for a romantic date nite or nite out with friends. They keep their pandemic protocol very consistent and we felt safe and had a great time! Meal was delish!!!
Food and service were outstanding. We will definitely return!
nice patio but we were seated on the edge upfront. really didn't get to experience the ambiance as much.
Celebrated a birthday with a dear friend. We both drove over 30 minutes to meet at Momed and were pleasantly surprised at the huge, widely spaced out patio where we could enjoy our wonderful delicious brunch and relax outdoors without getting too hot and feeling like we were cramped together too closely with others. Will come back again when in the area!
Lovely place, lots of space and distance between tables and our server was wonderful!
Always a great experience. Food and Drinks are phenomena!! Everything was amazing!
This spot is always fantastic! Cant go wrong. The food and drinks do it but the service make it all that much better.
Peak hour dining, could tell they were slammed, but was just the dining experience we needed in these times. We'll be back again soon.
Great food and service. Seated quickly and server attended to our needs
Thank you for the great experience. We had a great time and food was amazing.
Great neighborhood spot, with fantastic outdoor seating.
Loved our server!!!!
Ambience and setting are on point. They take the health and safety measures very seriously now which is reassuring. Food is incredible. Service was a bit lacking, had to hunt for someone to place our order and our server seemed to have disappeared for a while. Otherwise was a great time, delicious brunch and wonderful time.
Food and service was great, I loved the venue it was perfect for brunch and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Cant wait to dine again!
Loved this place! 6 of us and our waiter was so extremely attentive. The food came out piping hot. The ambiance was lovely!
We were so excited for LA to re-open outdoor dining and MOMED was one of the first places we thought to go. Even before COVID, it was the perfect place to eat outdoors! It's a nice blend of "vibrant and hip" and "family friendly" -- something for everyone. The food is always tasty and service was great.
Great service and safety precautions. The food and drinks were delicious.
This has to be the WORST place I have ever eaten at!
It all began when we were seated next to a fence with a view of train track on a romantic Valentine's Day Evening. When I asked the hostess if I can move to a different table, I got a rude "the seats are pre-assigned".
I then asked the random waiter if I can move and it was no problem at all. The drinks we ordered were great, but scared from the HORRIBLE food.
We ordered a starter of beef and lamb dumplings that tasted so bad we had to switch them out for the Trio. (Pita and hummus. Sadly the best food at this place)
My girlfriend got the chicken and potatoes that were burnt to a crisp and the chicken was so dry that it felt like eating sand.
I ordered the Shish kabob and decided to switch with my girlfriend so that she had something to eat.
The Shish Kabob was barely cooked and was extremely rare, we barely ate at all! Yet I paid for the drinks, the trio, and the kabob.
I notified the manager of how awful the food was. Normally a manager would say "so sorry that you had a bad time, let me refund you and make things right". INSTEAD I got "you should of told us and we would of send you another chicken".
Really? So now I had to take my girlfriend to go get pizza because we left hungry.
If you are reading this, you will have a better chance getting some great food at a food truck than this place.
Disgusting
The food at Momed is very good - clean, but flavorful and moderately unique. I love all of the vegetarian options. The service is highly lacking, however, and a restaurant experience is about service, ambience, and food. Sadly, the food can't stand on it's own. The outdoor dining is not pretty. Moreover, it was insanely cold and windy, and the staff didn't seem to care about the three tables that were out in the exposed area. The hosts are cold -barely a greeting upon arrival. Then, when you tell them your name for the reservation, they turn away without any acknowledgement. Minutes later, they say something like "Ok, can you wait over there? It'll be a few minutes." No one refills your water or wine, it takes a long time to be greeted by your server, they default to expensive bottled water, no one says thank you upon leaving. I could go on. I like the food, but it's more like a postmates place, given the ambience and service are so subpar.
Everything was great except most if not all the pita bread that was served to us was raw for some reason. Which was a little bit of a bummer because I am crazy about bread haha, however overall my woman and I had a lovely time. The atmosphere was really great and momentarily made us forget that COVID was a thing.
It was a really nice Valentine’s dinner date.
It’s been a few years since I’d been back and the ambiance was awesome! Covid safe environment and the food and dining experience was great.
Went there for a special Valentine's day brunch. The food was everything I was anticipating and tasted delicious. Service was great and everyone was super kind and very friendly.
Compliance with covid regulations was enforced and stated up front. I had a table far from other people which I appreciate but never felt forgotton.
I am very happy with my experience! :D
Great food. Great outdoor setting. Service wasn’t great at first. No explanation on how menus were viewed so we were sitting for 10 minutes without any instructions or introduction. It was difficult to get a hold of a server to take our orders. But food and ambience were great so would come back again hoping service isn’t always that bad.
Excellent, fresh, delicious and innovative menu. Careful, conscientious service. Great location.
This establishment consistently impresses in every aspect of execution of service and cuisine. It is outstanding.
Our food was bland. The chicken wasn’t seasoned and undercooked. Very underwhelming.
Excellent food in a relaxed environment. Great service.
Very cute place , great ambience. Our server Benjamin was outstanding. We had great experience and for sure will be back.
Great food and wine. Beautiful music and perfect waitress Benjamin. We had a good time. Very clean and professional service. Thank you
Our waitress Rose was really nice and helped make my friend's birthday a great night. Restaurant has a great aesthetic to it as well.
Excellent flavor in the food as well as being cooked to perfection.
It’s always so good. This is one of my favorite places in the area. Hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood. Cocktail menu and wine selections are wonderful — and EVERYTHING on the menu is just superb.
Wonderful experience!
We were thrilled to go out to eat since restaurants have been closed for so long due to the pandemic. Upon arriving to our table, a guest in our party of 4 wanted a different table. The host (who turned out to be one of the owners) aggressively responded to the request and asked if we wanted to eat there or not - I was astounded. I worked in the restaurant industry as a sommelier and was shocked at the rude demeanor and attitude of the owner. It's pretty commonplace for a guest to request a different table, and true hospitality would try to accommodate the guest in a respectful manner - definitely a ding for the restaurant. Besides this interaction, everything else was great. Our server Tricia was incredible, kind, and very helpful. The Momed Plate (3) is a great starter for the table. The Armenian Sparkling wine is great. Had the Lamb burger and it was almost perfect - just needed a little salt.
Overall, I really enjoyed the food and lively ambience. Tricia brought back a good energy after our initial interaction with the owner. I would come back!
Nice night out
Loveeee the ambiance... and the outdoor seating area is perfect for a chilly night. :)
Our favorite restaurant. For any occasion. Great food, service and perfect during COVID-19.
