Jack Stack Barbecue originated in Kansas City in 1957, by Russ Fiorella in a traditional storefront barbecue, with a modest selection of 5 or 6 items. Jack Fiorella, the eldest son, worked with his father until 1974 when he decided to branch off and start Fiorella's Jack Stack of Martin City.
To stand out in the competitive KC barbecue scene of the mid 1970's, Jack and Delores, began cooking with Gourmet Hickory Wood and created the most extensive barbecue menu in the country. The menu included Certified Angus Beef steaks, tender chicken, award-winning lamb ribs, and mouth-watering sides like Hickory Pit Beans and Cheesy Corn Bake.

We pride ourselves on being both unique and inviting with an atmosphere that’s all about kicking back and enjoying the good times! We are wine club members and enjoy our monthly wine tasting, then go into bar for wine o'clock that is always great. Brussel Sprouts the best, but every thing we've ever ordered is great.

Service was great, food was very enjoyable. They had a live person playing guitar and singing. Hadn't had this before there. Not sure if it was just for this night or something they are adding.

Although the food and service was good, after we had finished our meal, we were debating dessert, we were given our ticket making us feel we were not wanted and being pushed out the door. So it ended up not being a great experience as we were expecting.
