The day before the Covid shutdown we were a bit leery of the availability of some items. But the menu service an food was still hitting on all cylinders
I really really want to like this place. It’s a beautiful atmosphere and this is our second time. The first time, our salmon and Dover sole had no flavor what so ever. Last night, none of our meal temperatures came out accordingly for 5 of us. My lobster was raw, and they forgot the salmon. It was brought first raw then well done after we sent it back. We had originally asked for medium. The steak temperature was also wrong but we just ate it because it was ridiculous to send everything back. We ate at different times. The management’s answer to all this was give us free desserts which we said we didn’t want. We have a home in Bachelor Gulch and would love to return but not unless they fix the food... our server Bruce however was a gem and I felt sorry for him.
The food and service is was awesome at Mirabelle! The server Dominic was outstanding making great recommendations on appetizers and main course. I recommend the Colorado lamb chop it was the best !!
Amazing dinner. Bruce was a phenomenal waiter and engaged our 11 and 13 year old kids well. Food was outstanding. Atmosphere was quaint without being too rustic. Chef was able to accommodate a dairy free diner in our group with no problem. Whenever we are back we will definitely eat here again!
Excellent. Tip top
Belgian/French food miracle in the middle of Avon. Great diner, good for special occasions.
Very interesting and enjoyable experience. Best of the restaurants we dined at in beaver creek. Well worth the visit.
We were disappointed when we ordered the elk and the lamb as medium rare; they both came out as medium well. When we sent it back, the lamb was perfect and the elk was rare. They were delicious, too bad the temperatures were not correct.
Our new favorite restaurant in the Beaver Creek area!
We come back every year because of the Dover sole which is to die for
Food lacked flavor, from the lobster bisque to the
Dover sole . Service was excellent.
Our Mirabelle is one of our memorable experience in Beaver Creek. Warm welcome from the hostess. Great service , with an excellent wine recommendation. Beef and Elk tenderloin, très bon! And soufflés, to die for! Definitely coming back.
As always it was a wonderful evening. Service, ambiance, friendliness of staff are all superior.
We started with a cheese plate and champagne which is always served to perfection. The amuse bouche of zucchini mouse was delightful. We both ordered lobster bisque which was prepared to perfection.
My husband ordered the duck which he found to be the best he had ever eaten and I ordered the Dover sole which for the second time, I did not find up to par. The fish is not and has never been, served as a whole fish filleted off the bone, but of late was not as delicate as it has been in the past. The very small decorative accompaniment of potato, cauliflower and spinach were slightly dry and just not attractive in their presentation as I have been used to in the past at this fabulous restaurant.
The desserts, their rendition of strawberry shortcake was very good but the poached pear was served with chocolate ice and sauce which I did not think paired well.
Despite the slight change to their Dover sole, I would highly recommend this divine restaurant.
From the ambiance, to the food and especially the service this place is exceptional. Rui was our server and he was attentive, but not overbearing. His suggestions for food were right on. I had the elk and my wife the filet. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also tried the Lobster Bisque and was very pleased. As noted, the experience we had was much like the other reviewers on OpenTable. When we're back in Beaver Creek it'll be visited again and again.
Fantastic meal!!!! The chef is amazing. Best meal in BC.
The food, service and ambience were all excellent; it is expensive. But so is everything else in Beaver Creek. At least in this case one gets truly fine dining and outstanding service for the high price.
I like the atmosphere at this
cozy intimate Belgium restaurant which offers a 4-course tasting menu (wine pairing optional) beside a la carte.
Step inside this ‘house’ and there’s a nice living room/waiting area with a fireplace to your left.
Walk into the dinning room, each table was set with a rice and beans tomato flatbread on a stone which I enjoyed a lot.
We opted for the tasting menu with wine pairing. First course was Yellowtail Tartar, 2nd was Halibut, then Roasted Elk Tenderloin Filet, and last was desserts.
Overall food was mediocre to my liking (3 stars), but service was really attentive plus the atmosphere really set the mood and we did enjoy the dinner (add1 star)
Food was bland. Service and amhiance were the level we were expecting. Food was served piecemeal; making us wait for our guests to get their food. Definitely not the European experience we were hoping to have.
Modern classic French, quaint atmosphere in a historic house. Great selection of French, California, and Oregon wine, will absolutely go back when we are in Beaver Creek again.
The food, service, and atmosphere was very enjoyable. This was our second time eating at Mirabelle.
Always our favorite restaurant to visit while at Beaver Creek in CO! Save room for dessert!
Great service and amazing food. It’s Mirabelle people. If you are reading this and thinking about going just stop reading and book it. Delicious. Server was awesome.
Arguably the best in Beaver Creek. Others have good food, but at some (Chop House, Saddle Ridge) pacing can be annoyingly off (appetizers served with entrees at both, then 30 minutes' wait for dessert). Not at Mirabelle -- service was professional and timing was perfect.
We had an excellent meal. Every dish we ordered was inventive and delicious. The presentation and service were top notch. We haven’t been to Mirabelle in a couple of years. We were missing out! We will definitely become regulars.
Food taste was very bland and portions were tiny. At the price point they ask for, it is ridiculous to serve such small quantities.
Really poor service for such a high priced meal. The waiter had no awareness of conversation going on at the table, and simply interrupted whenever he came by.
The food was variable, at best. Presentation of the tuna appetizer was sloppy, with one serving very over cooked.
Overall, a very disappointing experience, and we are very unlikely to go back.
Mirabelle never fails to disappoint. A gourmet experience!
I was excited to bring my husband and our friends to Mirabelle after an outstanding meal on Monday night. I bragged about my foie gras and lamb chops. On Saturday night the foie gras was delicious and a highlight (though mine was half the size it was on Monday night). The lamb chops however were almost not edible. They were dry, hard and meatless, i.e. fatty. Both my husband and our friend had the same experience. My tenderloin was delicious but I was really sad that our overall experience was much less than we expected.
Service and food was outstanding. Dover sole was tops!
What a wonderful experience and what an incredibly accommodating staff. We mad our reservation on Open Table for 6:45pm on a Thursday night. As we drove from Denver on I-70, it became apparent we would be late for our reservation . We called and moved it back to 7:30. Thank you. As 6:30 came and we had moved only a couple of miles, we had to call back and cancel our reservation. We asked if they would accommodate the following evening and they did so graciously.
We arrived (on time) the following evening and were promptly and warmly greeted by Natalie and her staff. She said she was happy we made it, The bartender, hearing the previous night's story (it took us nearly eight hours to get to Beaver Creek from Denver), let out a big "welcome". We thanked them for working with us to see to our needs
Once seated and sipping a cocktail, we selected from a plethora of delicious-soundning menu selections. We each had the dish that appealed most to us individually ranging from meat to Dover sole. Some had appetizers, others salads. Everything was top notch as was the service which was very good and friendly. We decided to go with a couple of desserts. The wine list, we found, had great selections of French as well as American wines, all fairly pricey, but something could be found for every palate.
It was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all. I definitely recommend every aspect of Mirabelle and will likely dine there on my next visit to the Vail-Beaver Creek area.
By now, it’s a tradition, when we ski with friends in Beaver Creek, we always go to Mirabelle. Only once, it did not meet our expectations, a few years ago, but this time, everything was just as it should be, great food, nice ambiance and good service.
My wife and I were in town for a ski vacation. The food was goo, but pricey. The high point was our waitress (Laurie?). Very nice, very attentive.
Love the menu gourmand with the wine pairing. Always a special meal.
Small servings, but food, service, and setting excellent. Large tables nearby made it very loud!
Mirabelle continues to provide one of the best dining experiences in the valley. I have been going for the last 15 years and it does not disappoint. Our server was great, the food delicious, and the venue is wonderful.
Presentation and food preparation is the finest in Vail
Mirabelle is my favorite restaurant in the Vail valley. Tonight is the first time I have ever been disappointed
Service was a bit off, a waiter new to us, but pleasant until we were served long after other tables... And then the plating for my wife was just not up to what we expect after 11 years. The second try at Duck was overcooked and veggies hard or mushy. A sad performance for main. PS the fois gras was amazing.
Honestly, the lighting is so bright that it just doesn’t provide the ambiance of a special occasion restaurant which the prices command. The service is wonderful and the food beautifully presented. The bar area decor is warm and inviting which makes you want to linger rather than going into the bright dining room.
Everything was superb!
Amazing evening....charming location and 5-star food.
