End of an amazing ski season in Vail & Beaver Creek.
What a wonderful meal! The service was so friendly and every single bite of both our meals were wonderful. Mirabelle is (for us) expensive, but such a treat, that it is worth it!
The 2 of us had the Dover Sole, which was grilled and DELICIOUS and the lamb chops which were also awesome. The sole was the BEST I've ever had...and Mirabelle may have just become my favorite choice...even over Juniper.....
Best restaurant in the valley, hands down! Not one area for improvement. Appetizers and entrees, across the board, wonderful. Perhaps the best desserts in America! You won’t be disappointed.
The food and service are always spot on. We enjoy visiting Mirabelle every time we are in town.
Great restaurant with top quality food. But not cheap. Nothing in Beaver Creek is but Chef Joly is a master craftsman when it comes to creative and elegant French dining. If you can overlook the prices the meal is outstanding.
Superb dining experience for that special occasion.
Not much to say except is VERY pricey and not worth it.
Superb. Best restaurant in the Vail valley . We are regulars
Fois Gras!!! Add to any entree? Yes, please!! It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten at a restaurant and enjoyed every single bite!! From the amuse bouche to the crème brûlée and everything in between...Mirabelle was without a doubt the best meal we ate the whole time we were in Beaver Creek!!
The Dover Sole was the perfect balance of firm and delicate. The filet mignon was divine, especially with that incredible wine reduction sauce. 😍😍😍
Mirabelle is on our list of can’t miss restaurants!! If you’re lucky enough to sit near the kitchen you’ll be enchanted by the soft sounds of French being spoken in the kitchen. And if AJ is your server, you’ll be well taken care of!!
PS...be sure to enjoy a glass of vintage port or a lovely Sauternes with dessert. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We enjoyed a wonderful romantic dinner here. The ambiance, food, and hospitality were superb!
Love this charming Country farmhouse and is French cuisine.
Can we go back tonight? The food was excellent. My wife is not a fan of pan seared foie gras and almost ordered another one! Her elk steak was perfectly cooked and my lamb chops were better prepared than in any Manhattan Michelin starred restaurant.
The wine list goes accordingly but offers also some affordable suggestions. We shared a half bottle of 2013 Haut Médoc that we are now trying to order.
The staff was well trained. Such a difference with all those places where the servers are here only to ski/hike during the day.
Some of them are actually French speakers and it was a delight to be able to use our language skills (or lack there of) with them.
Mirabelle is truly an experience in fine dining for foodies. The service is excellent, the food amazing and creatively prepared and the ambiance is wonderful. Highly recommend.
Our first time at this restaurant. We have been coming to BC for Spring Break since 2007. We wanted something a bit special since it’s my daughter’s last break as she graduates this year so I chose Mirabelle. The menu is very limited and no one in our party of 4 really liked their meal. The portions are super small so when you opt for the beef tenderloin you’d like it to be edible. It was so tough most of us didn’t even finish ours. We left hungry and disappointed.
The lobster bisque, fois gras and souffles were the highlight! Everything we ordered was superb. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming and the service was excellent.
Food was good but it should have been exceptional for the price
Food was great, ambiance was pleasant, and the host was accommodating. The whole thing fell apart with the waiter. He was rude, unfriendly, unaccomadating, and ruined the experience. We couldn’t wait to leave.
From the moment you walk in the door and see the inviting lounge and bar where you can sit in front of the fireplace and relax, your evening is perfect. The hostess is friendly and welcoming and if you’d prefer to be seated immediately, that can be done. The wine list is excellent. Our server was attentive, friendly , and efficient. The food is fresh, well prepared, and service is never rushed.
We started with a cheese plate and champagne. We had the crab cake and fours gras appetizers. Both were excellent. We both ordered Dover Sole for our entree. It was fresh and well prepared. Dessert was fresh fruit with ice cream and cheesecake. Perfection.
So disappointed. We have dined at Mirabelle often over the years during our annual trip to Beaver Creek. It was our favorite restaurant. We took guests this year and we were frankly, embarrassed. We all ordered Halibut for our main entree which was watery and dry and worst of all, lukewarm at best. All portions were very small and very expensive. I have no problem paying a high price for delicious food. But this was not the case here. We will not return.
Came back Recently after a few years. Quality has dropped notably, and service below par as well. A pitty as it is a beautiful setting.
It’s the best food in the valley
Great ambience food was delicious Dover sole delicious but portion was small. Charge more give a better portion
Great food and service. Will go back every time we are in the area.
We didn't go to Mirabelle with "value" in mind as this is a rather expensive restaurant with delectably extraordinary & creative food. My husband and I ( food snobs) have eaten all over the world so I think I am pretty comfortable saying this is one of the best! We went early so had a chance to chat with our server Laurie who was so much fun and excellent at her craft. Only one little comment --my beautifully presented Dover sole seemed a tiny, tiny bit dry ( but not enough to return) and as I prepare sole at home I know this can happen easily. However, the Elk was so tender to not need the knife put to it and the lobster bisque was a rich treat for the mouth, as well as my delicious crab cake. We will always make a point to come to Mirabelle when we are at Beaver Creek as Chef Jolly changes the menu quarterly I believe. Absolutely, one of the finest restaurants in the USA!
Love the new spring menu!
The food and service was excellent. Everything was served together and perfect. To start, we were served the chef's Amuse-bouche that was a delicious beef tartar and cornichon blend surrounded by a very thin crispy flatbread, that even my wife loved, and she would not normally even try raw beef.(I talked her into trying it after I had it) I had the fois gras (fabulous) and my wife the asparagus soup for appetizers. For the main course I had the Dover Sole and my wife the chicken, both very good. For dessert we shared a vanilla soufflé which was perfect. Portions were exactly the right size. I saw several comments in other reviews that the portions were too small. Many people do not have experience going to "foodie"restaurants where the portions are sized appropriately so that several courses can be experienced without getting too full. It's a shame that reviews from inexperienced people reduce the overall rating of the restaurant. People who know just skip those reviews anyway but it does impact the overall rating. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. The ambiance was very nice and cozy. Would definitely recommend to people who enjoy high-end fine dining.
One of our favorite French restaurants in the world!
One of our favorite restaurants in Beaver Creek. We are homeowners in Beaver Creek and have dined at every restaurant. Mirabelle is outstanding. Last meal, my wife had the Dover Sole which was excellent. I had my favorite dish the elk tenderloin and this time it appears that the dish changed slightly as the red cabbage was very strong and over powered the elk. Wine list is excellent with some compelling items. Soufflé for desert is the signature item to have.
Mirabelle never disappoints-exquisite food & service! The chocolate soufflé is a must to enjoy.
Form the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt special. Our server Jessica was very attentive and made sure we were always kept supplied with wine and water. The food was outstanding we all had different things and everyone commented on how great it was. I recommend the Foie Gras which was perfectly balanced with pear and The Elk which was cooked to perfection at Medium Rare and then the cheese plate which was excellent - our friends shared a chocolate lava cake which they said was to die for and the center was literally liquid chocolate. This is a great place for upmarket dining and at $150 per head it’s good value for the service and quality, but it’s not a typical everyday dining restaurant and being in Beaver Creek it’s attracts a higher sales tax.
I come to Beaver Creek once a year, and ALWAYS spend one evening at Mirabelle-and sometimes dream about the lobster bisque and creme’ brûlée between visits!
Mirabelle is always a favorite destination when we are in town. The food never disappoints and rarely ever the service. A must go for any group. (Not for kids)
Another fantastic dinner!! I’ve been coming here for years and I’m always impressed by Chef Joly’s plates. I always start with the foie gras which is usually paired with nice fruit of some sort. I usually have either the elk, lamb, or dover sole for my main course and opted for the elk this time. Elk is such a delicious meat and Chef Joly knows how to treat it properly. The wine list never disappoints, either, and our bottle of burgundy tied the whole meal together. It goes without saying that I’ll be back again!!
The food was delicious; but the food portions were extremely small. I left hungry.
Don’t order the vegetarian dish all else was very good
We had a fantastic experience at Mirabelle. My wife and I had eaten there several years before and decided to take our two children for a last night celebration. Service was on point. Food was still incredible. Our waiter went out of his way to make our kids feel special.
The place is quaint, service impeccable, Jessica was outstanding! Exquisite Foie Gras, Rack of Lamb was perfect, finished by an amazing Soufflé! My son said one of the best Filet Mignon’s! Thank you to Chef his wife and staff for a truly great experience! Thank you! Nancy and Ryan
Got the four course and it was delicious, especially the elk. Service left a lot to be desired. Our waiter was way too interested in another table with guests from somewhere he previously lived in and pretty much ignored us. Mentioned my husband had a gluten free preference and he forgot to mention it to the chef (too busy talking to guests at other table). When he brought the second course with the ravioli and I inquired, he said “just don’t eat the ravioli”. I didn’t want to express my discontent because it was my husband’s birthday and I didn’t want to ruin it but this waiter was very inconsiderate. Don’t know if I would visit again.
Loved this restaurant at the base of Beaver Creek. Great food, service and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!
