Had to come back again . Brandon was absolutely amazing yet again. Everything was perfect
Celebrated our honeymoon. Between the hostess, the manager and our server Brandon it couldn’t be more perfect . We got there around sunset, we ordered two orders of oysters, sashimi Trio and ahi tartare. Ahhhmazingggg :) we ordered a bottle of Cabernet and also the steak and lobster and chocolate soufflé . Everything was perfect
Great food, great service.
Michel's might be one of my favorite restaurants ever! The setting is absolutely breathtaking. The food is delicious and the service was spectacular. I highly recommend Michel's on your trip to Honolulu!
Perfect for special occasions. Oceanside views. Delicious food, especially recommend the Tasting Menu. Alas, it is disheartening to see guests now wearing flip flops and shorts at Michel’s. I wish Michel’s would bring back its previous dress code. Such extremely casual clothing detracts from the elegant ambience.
The food was brilliant. The lobster bisque was just perfect. We also had the beef Wellington and soufflé. It was just so good
Great ambience, service, and food. It’s a good choice to celebrate a special occasion. Make sure to request a table looking out at the ocean.
Exceptionally beautiful location right on the beach. But take a sweater: if there is any wind you will be cold. We did not stay for dessert for that reason. As others have said, the food is spectacular in taste and presentation, in a different league from anything else in Oahu.
Service was competent and friendly, but nothing out of the ordinary, including a very curt disengaged nod by the manager.
Wines by the glass were not numerous but remarkably well priced considering the exaggerated pricing of many food items.
The table side prep foe the lobster bisque was a lot of fun. We ordered the Ocean Bounty and Beef Wellington, both were excellent. Views and ambiance of the restaurant was one of a kind!
Excellent food and impeccable service as always!
We enjoyed Easter Sunday Brunch and the food was spectacular and the oceanside views were even better. Chef Hardy finds new ways to delight even frequent diners with new touches and flavors. Highly recommend it for any special occasion.
Amazing view and food
Incredible experience! The service, views & food were all amazing. We were lucky enough to watch the sunset from our table & enjoyed every minute! The lobster bisque and chocolate soufflé was absolutely delicious. HIGHLY recommend! The service is beyond.
The service and view was exceptional. Food was excellent one of our party had their steak a little more done than they prefer but overall everything was superb. Everyone was talking about it for days. We all would recommend going to Michel’s as a wonderful option when in Waikiki.
Always great food, service & the location right on Waikiki beach cannot be beat!
Our server Jackie was superior in every way. Great attention to detail.
Food and service were very good. Not that I could detect anything French other than escargots. I would call it pan-Asian with good ingredients and a good taste of mixing flavors.
This is not a romantic place (we came for our anniversary) and the entrance way from the street is positively off-putting. Most of the beach-front hotels in Waikiki offer the same view and many a similar menu. The only advantage of Michel's is that the tiny beach is not crowded with noisy strollers but only a few residents of the apartment complex that Michel's is part of.
Excellent restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere, great views of Waikik and excellent food.
We chose Michele’s 2 nights out of 4. Titan was a perfect server and the atmosphere was serene. You shouldn’t miss this experience. I hope you can enjoy!
Nice and friendly service. Expensive but you get what you pay for
Everything from begining to end was perfect! Food and service were both amazing. My husband really enjoyed his birthday dinner.
Our dinner at Michel’s could not have been better! The staff were amazing. The location and ambiance was epic. The food was superb! Highly recommend!
Went for our 25 wedding anniversary. Highly recommend! The most romantic restaurant ever. Nothing beats watching the sunset literally right on the beach and eating amazing food.
The service , amazing! Our waitress was like a ninja! She knew when to wait on us. This dinner was special and didn’t mind what the bill was gonna be....worth every penny. Can’t wait to go again!
It's always lovely to dine at Michel's with a window table, have a cocktail, watch the people on the beach while the sun sets. They have new carpet and did some cosmetic changes, decor looked refreshed.
Our waiter Titan was friendly & efficient. We started off with fresh oysters which were nice & tiny (we requested the tiniest ones), the crushed ice kept them chilled perfectly.
The 2 people that had the beef Wellington said that theirs were perfectly cooked.
My seafood platter was delish, esp the lobster.
We can't wait to return for another sunset dinner.
Very special treatment. Table side service. Accommodated my daily sensitivity. We were very glad we ate here. It was recommended by a long term Hawaiian visitor.
Definitely a nice restaurant for a special occasion. However, it is a very expensive restaurant, so be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars if you want to eat here.
Ate here in the 80’s and 90’s and it was a great French restaurant. But now, the food is mediocre and uninspiring. Cesar salad still a knock out but not made with a raw egg anymore. I ordered a $65 steak that didn’t seem to be seasoned or very flavorful in general. Less than an ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes and 4 green beans. Maybe it is because I’m from Texas, but I’ve had much better steaks at high end restaurants at home that have been outstanding, and for about 40% less in cost. Just overall disappointing. Service was just okay. Our waiter was friendly but maybe had too many tables due to ramping up from covid. Restaurant has had its hey day but it’s time for a renovation and hiring a new and inspiring French chef.
An absolutely lovely evening celebrating my birthday with an oceanfront window table. Service was impeccable and the food was divine. Mahalo for making this gal feel so special.
Dining here is a great experience. Delicious food and impeccable service - always a treat!
I had the distinct pleasure of dining a Michel's for my birthday. The setting is just amazing, literally right on Waikiki beach. We enjoyed a LOVELY sunset with cocktails before our dinner. The food was nothing less than phenomenal. The table side preparation of lobster bisque was entertaining and it was very tasty. Appetizers we tried included the Veal and Ahi Tuna dish which was amazing, and the Ahi Sashimi. It was a lot of food! I was amazed at the size of both appetizers. For the main course we had the seafood bounty, the waiters recommendation. It was beautifully presented and had a sample of all the things on the menu. Calamari, prawn, 1/2 of a small kona lobster, mahi mahi and seared ahi tuna. It was so much food (considering we had really over ordered for the appetizers) we had to get a doggie bag to take home! All this LOVELY food with impeccable service! The waiters were attentive but not hovering. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a very special occasion, it's worth the splurge!
The location on the beach was beautiful. The service was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and not rushed. The food was exquisite and delectable.
Wow. What an amazing experience. From the staff to the service to the ambiance. A true delight not to be missed !!
30th wedding anniversary
Excellent service in helping me with my proposal!
Great food and service. Josh was the perfect server
Food wasn’t as good as the price. I guess we are paying for the view. Our table wasn’t very good either though so it wasn’t worth it.
