   Awful food. Over seasoned, salty and tasteless. I found a 2cm piece of jagged metal in my Burrata. No real apology/ recompense and the Burrata at £12.50 Is actually one halved with a boiled fig on top. I received the other, top half of the first Burrata to replace the first one that was sent back. The kitchen is disorganised and the service slow and stressed. The Game pie is basically watery peppered brine and the lamb tasteless. Dreadful. Shame on them.

   We have eaten at the kitchen counter on several occasions and really enjoy the restaurant. The quality of the food and service presents superb value for money and I would definitely recommend the kitchen counter and tasting menu experience.

   We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Merchants Tavern.. I would highly recommend the experience as the team are really engaging and it was a really fun night sat at the Kitchen Counter.

   Absolutely amazing all round. Food, ambience, service and value. I couldn’t recommend it more and am looking forward to going back.

   Absolutely top notch. The food was excellent and the kitchen staff did a great job talking through what they were trying to achieve. Great fun watching them prepare it right in front of you!

    We booked to have an early lunch on our “Mini Moon” in London, and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel special by all the staff. Watching the chefs cook added to the experience, the food was amazing, and all of the staff lovely. Loved it so much we’re taking our Son there for his Birthday just a week after our first visit
