The food is incredible! The menu is very small but definitely worth it. Plan on spending at least $150 for 2. We were so full that we could not even get desert.
The staff was kind but they seems to be bumping into each other all the time and they were almost running around us. It was a busy night with all the tables full.
They don't open until 4pm for dinner only.

I made reservations, but ended up waiting 15 mins to be seated. Was not happy with the wait.
Went to the Melrose for our anniversary and enjoyed one of the best steaks I've ever had! My wife had the salmon and she said it was perfect. I would highly recommend the Melrose but make a reservation as it is small and seating is limited.
Steak was great. Rack of Lamb tasted great, but was tough. Even the steak knife had a hard time cutting the meat. /Service was spot-on.
Our experience this time was not very nice. The first complaint I had was the noise level. Insane. A large group (from comcast) next to us was treating the place like they were the only ones the. Basically yelling at eachother. Their server was encouraging it. I couldn't hear my wife speaking. I couldn't hear our server. I cost even hear my own voice at times. It was ridiculous.
The second complaint I have is that I ordered king crab legs with my steak. 18 dollars for two legs...seems pricey but whatever. But what isn't okay is that when I got them and I creaked open the biggest piece, I found the meat inside just wrecked. They cut the shell for me...but I'm guessing that when they did that, the blade of the saw or whatever went inside and ruined it. There was almost none left. I told the waitress. Her response "let me go see if I can do something" I'm thinking you better be able to get me a new one. She eventually got me a new plate, but it was all chopped up. I saw 4 different tips. They clearly had the same problem with the new crab legs they were bringing me and "solved" the pproblem by giving me the ends of four separate legs. Obviously that is not ideal. They should have said, sorry all our legs are like this, we will take that off your bill.
All in all, it was not what I was hoping for at all. I would have enjoyed myself at outback or something way more.
The steak was good though.
Our first time to Melrose and we will definitely be back. We had Vanessa our server. Very personable, an asset to Melrose. We asked for recommendations and her thoughts on different items and she was spot on!!!!
