El conocido chef Nobu Matsuhisa, en colaboración con Nobuko Kang, creó este exquisito establecimiento donde el sushi es elevado a la categoría de arte y los clientes son famosos o aparentan serlo. First time at Matsuhisa. We were a little intimidated because the menu is extensive and unfamiliar, but our server helped us through with great suggestions. This is more of a shared experience than just ordering individual dinners. Everything was flavorful and delicious.

I was initially seated by a staff person at the sushi bar but one of the chefs there started to reprimand me about the need to clear the area. Even after I stated I understood and was not in a rush his stern tone continued. I then left and asked if I may sit at the regular bar and order food there. Once at the bar I had a very pleasant experience and was treated very cordially by the bartender.

My favorite sushi of anywhere I’ve ever been. They’re always consistent, quality, taste, preparation. Everything is excellent. Always my first choice.

I’m not sure what it is about this place but we have a fantastic time every time we eat at Matsuhisa! The food is outstanding, the presentation is great and the service is top notch. They did not rush us and we ordered slow and shared a great bottle of sake and our waiter was there is pour our tiny sake glass every time it was close to empty. This is one of our fav’s!! It doesn’t disappoint.

One of the best dining experiences! The food presentation and quality were INCREDIBLE. The flow of every employee that stopped by made it evident that they are all in sync with each other!

Our waitstaff experience was superb. Ryan S and Alexis as well as the entire team worked seamlessly to create a dining experience to remember. We enjoyed learning about each new dish we tried all amongst the stunning mountain ambiance. Will return and recommend.

My husband ordered the 9 course tasting. Ryan brought out each dish and explained it perfectly ! What a delightful young man and so knowledgeable . The food was exquisite ! Especially the fois gras waygu. We ate on the patio and had one of the best meals we can remember! Don't miss it!
