Best brunch I've ever had... and I've had a LOT of brunches. From food, to service, to presentation, to vibe, and beyond, it was the perfect place to spend my birthday brunch.
Everything was amazing. M&A will always be my top choice when it comes to fine dining.
The atmosphere was amazing, the food was delicious, the drinks were strong, and the service was incredible. I was a little annoyed with the wait. It was about 45 minutes, but they compensated with an appetizer and free shots. Love this place and we will be going back
They were unable to accommodate our reservation time, had to wait 40 minutes to be seated. The service was wonderful once we were seated, but the food was disappointing for the cost. They also included champagne and a cocktail at your table complimentary. We did enjoy the candlelit romantic setting.
I wanted to like M&A, but after the second time our waitress reminded us of the time limit on the table, (The hostess had already “mentioned” it as she seated us) I just gave up. The food was over-salted, so much so that we couldn’t eat the potatoes or the Brussels sprouts. There is NOTHING welcoming or relaxing about a restaurant that reminds you that “the clock is ticking”
That whole “I Don’t Give a F*CK” mantra? Go f*ck yourselves M & A. I’ll spend my money at restaurants that do Give a f*ck and extend that courtesy to their Customers.
Had a 9pm reservation, our entrees didn’t come out until 11pm
Amazing! Very impressed with the service and the meal.
Spectacular 50th birthday dinner for my wife - they really went out of their way to treat her well, from the personalized menu to the incredible service. Steaks were perfect, even the chocolate cake was among the best we've ever had. Thanks!
Jamie & the team were great. Had the tasting menu known there as, IDGAF. Oysters with caviar, shellfish, home made pasta, delicious aged porterhouse, salmon, multiple sides plus dessert. The level of service and attention to detail are superb there.
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommend! My husband and I had the oysters and waygu carpaccio for apps followed by the bone in filet and bone in ribeye. Broccolini, lobster Mac and cheese and asparagus for sides. Delicious 😋 Pricey but we’ll worth it. $500 with tip.
From the moment we sat down to the time we left, everything was impeccable. Highly recommend the pork chops and the branzino. Our server, John, was lovely. Perfect date night spot or for groups.
Best pork chop ever!
Stunning decor that matches the expectation of an upscale dining experience. We were warned several times of the 'dining limitation time of 1.5 hours, then you have to go to the bar'. That was the only detractor of the evening meal. Fantastic selection of seafood, meats and wonderful sides. Quite generous portions. Prices are steep but you do get alot and the quantity was enough to take home for another meal. The special was an end cut ribeye that was well worth the extravagant price. I would order it again in a heartbeat! Attentive service. Wonderful tidbits brought to the table with warm bread when you arrive. It was a memorable meal.
We’ve made a reservation. Was seated at the bar area for drinks to wait. But the wait was literally 1.45mins
It was intense, I was so hungry and seems like they have forgotten about us..
I’ve checked with the host 2x and they said how backed up they were.
We’ve been to Maple and Ash a bunch of times, but it’s been a while. The food is as ever, exceptional. Our server was clearly good but spent a lot of time telling us how busy he is and how popular the restaurant is and, how the chef would prefer we order, stuff we just didn’t need to hear about…. Plus it was SO LOUD. I know I sound like an old fuddy-duddy but I’m not, it was nearly impossible to hear and talk. It’s a scene, to be sure. They also reminded me in three different advance texts how fancy we should be dressing, which clearly no one pays any attention to. They also took great care to ask how many years we are celebrating for our anniversary, yet failed to acknowledge that in anyway, not even on their signature menu with our names on it. Also the didn’t acknowledge our anniversary, other than just to give us the printed menu. So I wonder why they even asked? I’m sure we will be back at some point, but we found it just a little harder to love this time. :(
Went there for my 40th birthday and M&A did NOT disappoint. Amazing service from start to finish, amd the food was perfection. Will definitely return for future special occasions!
Hostess greeting at entrance and upon the 3rd floor was not the best experience, nor polite…but our sever made up for the beginning of the experience and the food was perfect!
What a fantastic spot to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was incredible.
My boyfriend and I dined here for my birthday and WOW what a wonderful night it was! Totally exceeded my expectations, we ordered the tuna tartare, a fillet, and the ravioli it was incredible! We also finished off with a dessert with the ice cream sundae, which was the coolest and best ice cream sundae we’ve ever had!! Definitely will be back again with family and friends!!
Great food and experience!
Food was very good especially the carpaccio and banana fosters. Worth a visit. Very loud.
Had to try this place after it was recommended, if you’re ever in Chicago - it’s ridiculous. Maybe the only steak I’ve had that was Jeff Ruby level.
The ambience is on point & with low lighting & great vibe. Waygu Beef Carpaccio with King Crab & Truffles, Oysters, 16oz Bone-In Filet Oscar Style, Roasted Mushrooms, Broccolini, & Lobster + King Crab Mac w/ Gruyère & Truffles - get the “IDGAF Smoked Old-Fashioned”. Probably a lot more on my IG story @mrrockstarrealtor
Awesome! It was our first time there and it was the best dining decision we’ve made all month.
Our waitress was very nice. She had a large party and a lot of other tables, so she often forgot items we asked for. Overall very nice. Will be back.
Brunch was amazing. Staff was beyond amazing
Best restaurant for brunch !!! -M.F
It was worth every penny!!! Impeccable service!!! We had one of the best servers in the city ( Russell)!!! He made our experience fun and relaxing.
Great service with outstanding food. The pasta after seafood towel killed everything. I would come back everyday for that pasta. Memorable birthday for me ❤️
We had a fabulous experience. The food was great
Incredibly long wait even with a reservation. Waiter (Mason) was kind of rude.
Tori provided a great experience for our family and friends while dining at Maple.
Every single thing -food, service, ambience was perfect!
A must experience spot in Chicago
Good place for a night out. Food good service was Awesome!
Great day but the service was a little slow for a $200 brunch. Other than that it was great.
Everything was absolutely incredible! 10/10 experience
Unreal experience when you order the i dont give a f*@k! Tons of food so come hungry, and it was all amazing! Our server was also great and so were the drinks. They were busy so we had to wait about a half hour even though we had a reservation. The salmon was extremely salty but they accommodated us and took that off of our bill. Overall great experience and will definitely be coming back!
