The restaurant has innovated with the two authentic flavor legacies by infusing a bit of Californian flair to the dishes on offer. Housed in a stunning covered patio with a large olive tree overlooking the proceedings. An evening dining delight, with the sky on view and fancy lighting keeping the roof well lit, Maia brings classic dining to its diners. The patio eatery offers parking facilities as well. Came here on a Wednesday for Happy Hour with my close friend. The portions are wayyyyy tiny, but so delicious!

We loved our visit to Maia! They made a CA roll for our daughter, and we had a lot of wonderful veggie dishes (the sides are excellent). Wonderfully fresh sashimi.

Just dreadful food. They need a new Chef. Now! Impeccable service and the management was wonderful and understanding. The drinks were tasty and strong enough. The food, however, was inedible.

Had a lovely time with old friends at Maia. The hostess (Toria, I believe) immediately met me with a warm and genuine smile, struck up conversation, and we giggled while walking to the table like old girlfriends...then she gave me the best table outside right next to the heater!! Amazing. Then, drinks and food came which were just as delightful. This was my second time here, definitely better than my first where the waitress was slightly awkward and not skilled at analyzing when is best to interrupt conversation to ask questions.

Great food and happy hour cocktails, and great decor with outside seating. But the tecno music and the crowd that arrived later was a turn off for my taste.

Great ambiance, unfortunately the most average food. Very small portions, over priced. No dish worth coming back for. No amount of ambiance can overcome the poor food quality.

My date and I both agreed that Maia was "on its way" and that it had a good looking crowd. We are unlikely to go back anytime soon, as we felt it needed some all around development, but it's cute, has potential, and plenty of eye candy.

Upstairs scenic view very nice. Our server, Alexandra was very engaging and transparent with sharing info from the menu...she had great choices for first timers as we were. John the GM was very accommodating with sharing history of Maia and showing us the restaurant. He has some great ideas and I hope the company will allow him to venture outside the box. We definitely will return to try the new menu selections to be released on May 9.

A bit too expansive for what it is. Basically a sushi restaurant with a few extra appetizers. Not bad but not a place I'll go out of my way to visit.
