   Mahina and Sun's is quite a little gem in the middle of Waikiki. The food was delicious and the menu highlighted several locally sourced items. The service was welcoming and friendly. It's a fun, family-style atmosphere and a great place to share starters. We will definitely be back.

   We had an excellent meal last night for dinner. Sat in a round corner booth and loved it! The live music was fantastic and not too loud. Mahina & Sun’s really nailed it with their decor and playful style. Our server was fantastic! I feel bad bc I think I’m going to get her name wrong—Teessa I think? Definitely request her—she loves working there & knew her stuff. She made our experience extra special.

   Every time we come to Mahina and Sun’s we have the best time. Live music, food and service are top notch. the king of NY drink was exceptionally good.

   The majority of us enjoyed the whole fried fish with the multiple side dishes . The fish was so tasty and the sides were so filling . We thoroughly enjoyed it . My husband had the steak and thought it was delicious . The service was impeccable . The ambiance was casual . Parking in the area was difficult .

    Food was amazing (especially “Off the Hook,” which was off the hook!). Service was fantastic. Friendly, attentive and offered many helpful suggestions. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed and a nice break from the Waikiki crowds. Highly recommend.
