We really enjoyed the live music and the food. While I had the craft beer and my fiance had the mixed drinks we felt there was better value price wise in the beer. We would be back for the food overall.

Our waitress was sweet and nice, but then a food runner brought out our food basically all at once. We got our salad first, then later our pupu, and our main at the same time. We went to enjoy a leisurely, dinner. I’ve been 3 times before, and always raved about the food. I was dissatisfied this time. Food was good quality, but not up to their old standard. Was just ok. Flavors were muted, appearance was blah. I felt so rushed. We ate the food as it was served so it would t get cold. Dinner was over in 45 minutes.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. Husband had fresh local oysters to start, then corn risotto., which he loved. I had the third fish on the menu-forget the name but it was great. Son had rigatoni which he inhaled. Live music by the pool was a nice addition. Our server, Karen, was wonderful. She explained all the dishes to us and referenced the local sourcing for most ingredients. Best meal we’ve had in Hawaii-don’t know why this place isn’t packed!

Excellent food. Creative tasting menu. The beignets with octopus were a pleasant surprise. Sounds odd, I know, but the savory dough with octopus bits were delicious. Very pleasant service. A great place. My only complaint was the extreme volume on the live music. Music itself was nice, but WAY TOO LOUD. Conversation was essentially yelling.

ハワイ産の食材を使ったオーガニック創作料理でメニューは少ないけどお料理はどれも美味しかったです。日本語のメニューは無く私達が行った時は日本人のお客さんは居なかったです。生演奏をしているので少し騒がしいですが演奏している所から離れた席なら問題ないです。

This was our first time at this restaurant. We were very pleased. The staff were all so friendly and nice.
we ordered the family feast and it was a feast! We had the fish mochi fried and it was cooked to perfection. Not overdone. As we started to eat, there was live music coming from the bar across
(in the same Surf Jack Hotel) from us. It was Kelly from Kapena! He's a local favorite and we were
so surprised and delighted. This place is great and we wondered why more locals were not dining here.
Good food, great music and a family feast. We will be back for sure.

Highly overpriced...no ambience...poor service...worst coleslaw ever eaten...dinner: pork chop, baked beans, coleslaw, an overgrilled cornbread piece...had to scrape off the burnt parts ... $36. And we were there at the start of the evening...took 45 minutes to get dinner even though there were probably less than 25 customers...we were the second group of customers.

Seemed in between. Not as good as finer dining on the mainland but not as soulful as some of the Oahu places like Tonkatsu Tamafuji or Marukame Udon at half the price.

The service was beyond terrible. Food came out at different times with some party members eating 1.5 hours between the others. The last dish never came. Server was haphazardly apologetic. Food was subpar at best. Avoid at all costs.

There was a silent disco and pool movies going which added to the experience. The four of us all felt the food was very bland and just marginal. It was quite expensive for the quality.

Fish hard overcooked cold, couldn’t even cut it with the knife given. Steak knife would have been better. Could not taste the sumac at all. Naked pig pizza little topping and less taste. Margarita soggy - kids thought it was terrible. Rigatoni was “OK”. Wine overpriced for what it was.

Was looking forward to this and we were bitterly disappointed. Not worth it at all - even at half the price would not recommend it.

The roasted kabocha and carrot salad was very, very delicious. We licked the plate clean.

My husband was wowed by the thickness and succulence of the pork chop....he even let me savor a bite. Stacy Sugai of Two Lady Farmers is a personal friend. Thank you for using her pork products.

Finally, authentic contemporary Hawaiian and local food can be had in Waikiki! Chef Kenney is famous for his fish dishes, and he did not disappoint with the ahi, monchong and opah because all were delicious! We also enjoyed the pizza...crispy crust and wood fired...yum. The atmosphere is very lively because it's located in one of the hippest hotels in Waikiki. Live music most nights makes the evening special.

ピザ生地は少し苦いけど、美味しかったです。店員さんオススメのサラダは、お酢が大好きな人は大丈夫だけど、大好きじゃない場合は少し酸っぱくて💦

生演奏がうるさく感じる人は、時間帯を選んだ方がいいかも。

店員さんは、優しくて接客も良かったです。

Unless the food gets better, maybe I would recommend to family and friends. Being that this was my first visit, food wasn’t as fresh. Tuna tartare has a fishy taste. Telling me it’s not fresh. Nothing special with the Kale salad but for the price it should have stood out and poi bowl wasn’t special either, but I could let this go by as poi is typically bland anyhow. For the price not worth it I think. It’s pricey for what it is.

Odd experience...we’ve been to Town, owned my the same owner, and had a wonderful experience, so we expected similar greatness. Both entrees lacked flavor and had undercooked portions (undercooked grains in mine and undercooked (hard) beans in my wife’s entree). The menu ideas are great but the execution failed unfortunately. Maybe the kitchen just had an off night.

The greatest disappointment and surprise was not the food or service but the parking. The parking is only valet parking and with a charge of $10. The food was mediocre; the service good, the ambiance---what ambiance? We were seated next to the pool which was quite vibrant with noise from kids and people...Couldn't have a conversation without raising our voices. My opah was dry and needed salt. Hubby said his pork chop was okay----nothing impressive.

This is a great restaurant! The roasted squash salad was excellent, as was the naked pig pizza (it had a very interesting white/cheese sauce) - order it with the argula and parmigiano! Also, the cocktails are very unique - we recommend the pina colada. The dessert was also very tasty - banana salted caramel pudding!

The overall experience was good. I think there was only one waitress attending at least 5 very busy tables. Of course that made everything slower.
