We have been celebrating Christmas Eve at Maggiano’s for over 20 years and the family loves it! The food was outstanding! Thanks
Our service and food was excellent! The chef handled my more unusual food allergies with grace and creativity- which was so appreciated! Another overall delightful dining experience that we will definitely repeat again next time we are in the area.
We have been dining @ Maggiano's before and after theater for many years and again it was great.
You did not have our favorite Chianti - Gabbiano - second time this has happened.
I was hoping you would have the beef Lasagna as a special as you had last December.
Eric was great and we enjoyed having him as our waiter.
Exceptional time with our family
Great experience. Seated immediately and wait staff was very attentive. Chef came to our table and answered questions as well as brought out sample for us to try. We have eaten here before and have never been disappointed.
We went for Thanksgiving dinner as a family tradition. Amazing turkey, ham, italian stuffing, whipped sweet potatoes and desserts! No rush and great atmosphere for a special memorable family night. No dishes and no clean up!
Great experience with good food and plenty of left overs to take home.
Thanksgiving Meal: We drove from San Diego to meet our son and his wife at the South Coast Plaza location; they live in LA. We were delighted with our choice of Maggiano's. Excellent traditional American and Italian offerings. Preparation and presentation were very well done. Initial portions provided could have been more, but that was most likely due to the crowd in the restaurant impacting the kitchen. Our service team promptly provided more when requested. We sat in the very back room and the temperature was a bit too low, but again this may have been due to the crowd and the manager wanting to get ahead of the heat load with the crowd; the lobby was backed up for hours. We will Will do this again next year; great food, great service, at a reasonable price. That is all one could want. Well Done. A Winner.
Love that there is so much to choose from. The food was so good and came home with a bag of leftovers. Maggiano's never disappoints.
Thanksgiving supper was superb with the outstanding service and generous portions served family style.
I'm finding that there is too much salt in almost all of your dishes. It didn't used to be that way, but it's that way now. I'm not the only who noticed it. My guests did as well.
We have gone there for the last 3 years for Thanksgiving. This year the food came out cold and our pasta didn't get to the table until we were finished with the main course and full.
Overall though, we love it there and will try again next year.
I would love to have a word with the management, regarding how to train service staff, to serve, clear, set and provide for a pre set menu and 16 guests.
Perfect dining experience before walking to Segerstrom Concert Hall!!
We had a relatively new waiter - Adam. His presentation and personableness is to be recognized.
He mentioned that Evan, our favorite, had been his trainer.
As usual our evening was pleasant.
Our service stood above all others and food was great!!
It just was not good. Didn’t even eat most of what I got. That makes it even more expensive!
The squash stuffed ravioli was just ok.
The veal parmigiana was tough as shoe leather.
The spaghetti side was rubbery.
Really? At South Coast? Not ok. ☹️
At least the cheesecake dessert was good. Gave me something to eat.
Great value for decent, middle of the the road Italian food.
We frequently dine at Maggiano's. Only downfall was service this time around. My husbands dish was not prepared the way he ordered it, and this does happen time to time but the servers usually catch this and fix, but not this time. Our server was more interested in friends of his seated at the table behind us, to the point of even showing, and allowing his friend to stick her nose close to my leftovers he was carrying away to pack up for me. Not too happy about that.
Our waiter was awesome
The food was very good. The service was was as well. But I had reservations at 7:00 and it did not seem to matter because I was told repeatedly, my table was being set up but in fact it took almost 45 minutes to get seated.
Yes, the restaurant was crowded and they do a lot of business on a Saturday night. However, what is the point of making reservations if you must wait so long to be seated???
It was great like normal
This was our annual birthday dinner visit since there is no Maggiano's in San Gabriel valley. We chose the family style menu. The fried calamari is a must as well as Maggiano's salad. So delicious and prepared perfectly. The shrimp diabolo with pasta has a slight kick and was delicious as well as the chicken and shrimp pasta. Salmon was moist and cooked perfectly. The Zocotto chocolate cake was outstanding moist and full of flavor and what can you say about their tiramisu--not to be missed. Probably the best in town. Restaurant was very busy as usual but service was attentive and food was great.
Excellent food and service. I will come back again .
