Best Italian Restaurants in Ware
I went to Hanna Devine’s for date night with my husband and he said his baked haddock was excellent. I had been there once before with a friend and enjoyed it very much. Both times I had the goat cheese and beet salad (once with grilled chicken and once without) and it was delicious. We shared the buffalo chicken stuffed bread and it was devine. The drinks (Hendricks and tonic) were good but on the high side ($). The waitress I had both times was Allie and she was actually the best part - attentive but not too much and humorous - a happy spirit. The first time I went it was around 7pm; the place was full (families, couples, etc.). The second time it was 5pm; not too busy and the crowd was older but kind of loud (talking and bodily noises😩which is a pet peeve). Both times I went was on a Friday night and there was live music. I dined in the dining room both times; the music was in the bar area - both areas have plentiful seating. I loved the restaurant and plan to go back (just not during the early bird hours ;) MoreOpenTable Diner -
Ware exudes the genuine allure of small-town life. It has several restaurants that range from casual to more upscale options. Featured cuisines include traditional and new American in addition to barbecue, Mexican and Italian. Hearty menu offerings include wood-fired, brick oven pizza or calzones and fresh fettuccini with homemade meatballs. Try the baked lobster mac and cheese, made with lobster chunks and a three cheese blend for a different take on classic comfort food. If your tastes favor a Mexican restaurant, consider flautas, made with shredded chicken or barbacoa inside crispy tortillas and served with lettuce, tomato, sour cream, Ranchero sauce and spices. Most Ware establishments are open for breakfast and weekend brunch in addition to lunch and dinner.
