Last dinner in Boston before we moved. It’s been our long time favorite. Truly the best roasted chicken ever! More

Seafood | Charlestown, Boston

Excellent experience because of the quality of the food and service. Only one gripe: for our party of two they split a table of four into 2 separate tables, but did not move apart far enough. We then were uncomfortably close to our neighbors as we were in the middle of their conversation the whole time. More

Gastro Pub | Charlestown, Boston

The food was delicious. The spinach and artichoke rangoons melted in your mouth. The pretzel was good but make sure you eat it while it's hot so it doesn't get hard. The flavors in the fish tacos were amazing. This was a find thanks to a Nift gift even though I bike by every time I cycle to work and we will definitely go back to enjoy more dishes off of the menu. Discover Charlestown

Charlestown has a history as a naval hub and sits on the Boston Harbor and the Mystic River. With its roots as a home to Irish immigrants, Charlestown is a great place to find authentic Irish food, like Irish stew or corned beef and cabbage, at one of the local Irish pubs. True to its New England roots and seaside location, Charlestown is also home to a number of restaurants serving fresh seafood. You can head to a raw bar for clams or oysters, enjoy a bowl of New England clam chowder or crack open a freshly caught lobster. You can also cozy up to a cup of coffee and a pastry at a laid-back café or bakery. And along with the prominent Irish influence in Charlestown, you can also find other international cuisines, including French, Italian and Indian.
