We celebrated my birthday. The waitress Natasha was wonderful. Very attentive and on the top of recommendations and recognized our needs. We really enjoyed our meal lobster ravioli and linguine Al Frutti. The deserts we ordered were over the top chocolate pot and added a glass of port and the apple crisp. MoreOpenTable Diner -
A perfect place for a friends' get-together. The restaurant is relatively quiet which allowed for an easy discussion with 5 of us at a round table. The small plates and appetizers were very good - my Lamb Couscous was a tiny bit disappointing - the merguez was too gamey for my taste, and the lamb itself was too fatty. But others may have really liked it. A super extra bonus on Friday nights is the belly dancing. At around 7.30 a belly dancer comes out and does about half an hour of wonderful dancing - very impressive. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Charlestown has a history as a naval hub and sits on the Boston Harbor and the Mystic River. With its roots as a home to Irish immigrants, Charlestown is a great place to find authentic Irish food, like Irish stew or corned beef and cabbage, at one of the local Irish pubs. True to its New England roots and seaside location, Charlestown is also home to a number of restaurants serving fresh seafood. You can head to a raw bar for clams or oysters, enjoy a bowl of New England clam chowder or crack open a freshly caught lobster. You can also cozy up to a cup of coffee and a pastry at a laid-back café or bakery. And along with the prominent Irish influence in Charlestown, you can also find other international cuisines, including French, Italian and Indian.
