We have been dining here for years and the Loretto Burger is something we always look forward to b/c of the chili rubbed bacon. The chef forgot to add the chili so this meal became like any other cheeseburger. Highly disappointing experience!

The patio is really beautiful and they accommodated our dog. The front of house staff were all super friendly, but there must have been a revolt in the back. Service was slow and our waitress apologized because she had to wait and make drinks because the bartender walked out. I felt bad for her she was lovely. We ordered an appetizer of bisque and it was over salted-ruined the dish. Then we had Cesar’s salads that were so lacking in dressing , that I felt like pouring water on it would have been an improvement. My husband added chicken to his and it came out with absolutely no seasoning at all. I guess they used all the salt in the soup. The bucatini was the entree and after we finished the salads it was about 10 minutes before the bus boy came out and asked us if we were ready for the entree. We said yes. Half an hour later the waitress came back to “take our order”. A few minutes later the hostess came out and said the manager would come talk to us. At no point did we complain or say anything. We were just waiting and enjoying the lovely evening, but decided if the appetizer and salads were not good then there was no way the entree could be worth waiting 40+ minutes. So they took it off the bill and we left. Not sure what happened there tonight, but the front of the house people were lovely. Hope they get the rest figured out.

Always a good meal at Luminaria. Great ambience and staff/service exceptional. For a hotel, the dining is very nice. Not “standard cuisine” but interesting and good menu. Set in the heart of Santa Fe close to shopppng and arts.

Annual visit for us. Love our favorite table and dish. The Loretto burger! Gary, I believe was our server. Super nice and pleasant young man. Hostess was accommodating and professional!
