It was my birthday brunch.
We sat on the inside-room totally to ourselves.
Our eggs Benedict and omelette were perfectly cooked and seasoned. And Carlos was one of our servers-he is the BEST!
Thanks for a memorable birthday brunch.
Highly recommend! Very romantic, great ambiance, church chimes in the distance, fabulous service and delicious food. Save room for their signature luminaria dessert. It’s well worth it. Prices are very reasonable for a higher end restaurant.
Very friendly and responsive staff and the food was good, if a bit pricy. $25 for a burger and lemonade seemed to be a bit much.
Ambience was wonderful great evening meal at 8 PM although we ate outside due to Covid law and it was a bit chilly
Beautiful Patio! Wonderful service. Perfect for lunch or breakfast.
Great food lovely outdoor seating. Roaring fire on the patio. Attentive staff great service
Beautiful venue, peaceful and warm with approximately placed heaters to enjoy delicious food!
Fabulous ambiance with overpriced so so food.
It was a good place.
My husband and I made reservations for brunch while in Santa Fe. The setting is lovely and very inviting. The hostess was a dream and congratulated us on our anniversary while we were seated. Our waitress was very disengaged the entire time. She didn’t put in a French toast order and when we asked the runner when food came—she was visibly frustrated and grunted under her mask. We were told it was not put in and she’s go to let them know. Our server VERY casually came by and said “ I see they didn’t bring your french toast out.” Strange. Husbands omelette was missing a side item which was not noticed at first and our server laughed and said she would get that.when French Toast was delivered I thought Presentation was too die for with fresh berries and caramelized bananas and a mascarpone! Then I took a bite to find the French toast came to table and was completely cold. Even the caramelized bananas. That’s when I gave in to lackluster experience here.
I understand things happen and everyone has a rough day. This was the only brunch we were able to have and was disappointed it fell flat after such high recommendation.
The atmosphere was fantastic! It was romantic with nice lighting and and a fire. But the steak dinner wasn't great. The steak was way over cooked. The Luminaria desert was fantastic and the drinks were also really good.
Lovely setting & fresh, flavorful menu
Very good service as well as very good food.
Food was very good, service unusually slow. Some diners were loud, and others left before dinner arrived.
Service wasn’t great. We had a reservation for 7pm and didn’t get seated until 745 and didn’t have a server visit our table until 8 so ended up eating around 9/930.
The food and service were fantastic. COVID measures were very good.
The ambience was delightful on the patio. We were seated next to the winds sculptures and San Miguel church. The waiter, Eric, was very accommodating and was able to arrange with the kitchen a modification to a dish that suited my wife's dietary needs. My Moroccan lamb chops were nicely prepared and delicious.
Food is always great here. Server was very attentive. Ambiance is always great. Seemed like they didn’t have enough help based on a full house of diners but we don’t care because the food and ambiance is awesome.
In the past we have only eaten lunch at Luminaria. This past weekend we tried dinner and unfortunately were underwhelmed. Menu was sparse, our waiter was overwhelmed and, in the future, we will be back only for lunch!
Food was very good but was cooked in too much oil, lots of oil left on the plate. Beautiful space. Will return.
Perfect weather, good social distancing, majority of staff following proper masking. Eric was our waiter & was fabulous. We had Pablano Relleno sitting on a bed of spicey spighetti boulagnase. Regular margs were excellen!
I was disappointed in my beet salad. It was basically a green salad with about 1/2 beet surrounding the greens. The food, as a whole, was tasty, and the atmosphere was great.
Always good for lunch. My friends had not dined here since the new chef and GM arrived...they.’ll be back!!
I would say the Luminaria is "to die for." What more can I say? The outside patio is terrific--elegant, the rooftop lined with little lights, great people--I always meet someone I enjoy talking to at the table next to me! The food was fantastic, although a very limited menu, probably due to the coronavirus issues. However, if there were only 2 things on the menu, I'm sure one of them would suit me just fine! Thank you, Luminaria--I will be there again next year!!
My birthday lunch! It was amazing! Great service, food was delicious and the patio was so perfect!!
Great spot to celebrate a fun occasion.
I’m hoping the kitchen was having an off night but we went to a burger place after this. Lovely location and view. The wait staff was amazing.
Luminaria Patio is always a delight. The setting is very attractive, with tables the perfect size for good conversation and plenty of space for all the good food and drink you will want to enjoy. Fine lInens on the tables lend an air of grace. Seating is commodious and very comfortable. As for the food - delicious and beautifully presented.
Small food portions. Nice ambiance. Good service.
We were excited to eat at Luminaria. We loved our outdoor table and the ambience was excellent. However, our service was less than stellar - our waiter was not attentive and a poor communicator. We both ordered the Chili Relleno and were extremely disappointed. It was very bland - zero spice or heat, although the cheese inside was good. We had to ask for some hot sauce to make it slightly resemble a spicy, Mexican dish. Our shrimp appetizer was good. The Caesar Salad was the best thing we ate.
We are locals and had stopped eating at Luminaria b/c we had a few bad meals; I think there is a new chef and the food is back up to being delicious. Of course, the patio is one of the best in town and the service has always been outstanding. So glad the quality of the food is great again.
Good food, service, and ambience in a safe outdoor covered patio.
Absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing. The service was outstanding. And the place is just beautiful. I had breakfast at Luminaria twice during my stay in Santa Fe.
My party and I had a great time ,the food and the atmosphere was just perfect.
Wonderful food, fabulous service, and romantic atmosphere for a patio dinner.
Great ambience, took appropriate Covid precautions, excellent and friendly service. excellent beet salad, shrimps, and very good steak frites. Very good and reasonably priced wine list.
Our breakfast was as pleasant as the online photos looked. Beautiful setting and great food.
We ordered the omelette and it was EXTRAORDINARY!
It was light and fluffy just the perfect consistency and seasoned well. We felt it was he best in Santa Fe.
Finally, we know where to go fir an omelette just Lee in France!
Thank you to the Chef!
Attentive service, well prepared food, lovely atmosphere.
