We had a wonderful meal celebrating my husband’s birthday! He LOVED the blueberry cocktail (we can’t remember what it was called), and our server comped one of his drinks as a birthday gift. She was so sweet. We will be back for sure!

Friendly and knowledgeable server! Kudos for the NA Bird’s cocktail! Smoked meat loaf was a delicious meld of flavors we could not stop eating. Hope to be back soon - you can’t go wrong at Lucky’s.

A Failed restaurant. Dinner last night was inedible. Sour Brussels sprouts too sour to eat. Marrow bone that was tasteless greasy and just awful. A dry, chewy pork chop. What happened? Lucky used to be great. The place was half empty on a Saturday night. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our entre. Bad chef and nobody watching the house.

We were at Lucky for their Tiki takeover special menu. The food was wonderful! My wife and I shared everything so we could try more. My favorite was the sweet and sour shrimp. The crab Rangoon was also marvelous. It was great (as Lucky always is)

Delightful ambiance, beautiful design, and exceptional service. Excellent if expensive cocktails. Our shrimp and grits, cheese plate, focaccia bread, summer salad were tasty and well presented. Truly disappointing meatloaf that was dry and had little flavor, green beans tasted canned, mashed potatoes good…..price for this dish should have warranted an above average taste, but fell well short.

Wife & I had our anniversary dinner here, everything was amazing. They called me to confirm reservation the day of, which was comforting. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted, seated & served. The menu was reviewed to us clearly by our professional & courteous server (sorry I cannot remember your name but you deserve kudos for an excellent job), I had questions on some of their offerings as I am not very well versed in this level of dining, he clearly explained everything not making me feel un-worthy of my experience. The timing of our courses, drinks, etc. was perfect, presentation & quality were phenomenal. Definitely recommend.

Phenomenal experience with great service and amazing food. The mixed drinks were delicious. The 4 course meal option provided some of the best food that I have had the pleasure of eating. The staff were extremely competent and knowledgeable about the menu and did not hesitate to answer any questions. We will be going back.

Monet did a fantastic job as our server. The trout was perfectly cooked and the fresh cucumber and tomato salad was a nice light accompaniment. As usual, the cocktails were interesting and exquisite. We look forward to our return in the near future

I am so absolutely happy that Lucky brought back their old menu. The food is phenomenal always, fried chicken and brussel sprouts and the drinks are amazing! I love that they change the drink and food menu up for the change in seasons. This is my our favorite restaurant in Roanoke. Quiet and cozy & great for date night!

This restaurant had such potential but it was a big let down. Our service was so incredibly slow. Other servers seemed more attentive and knowledgeable but ours, while nice, was lacking which impacted the entire experience. For an app and 2 entrees, we were there almost 2 hours and had to track down someone to get our bill. The food was meh at best and somewhat overpriced for what we received. The wine bottle was almost 4x the price from our grocery store (looked later). We were just visiting Roanoke, but if we ever return, I wouldn't go back to this restaurant.

Overall great experience. Only problem was lengthy wait on our entrée. Server apologized for a back up in kitchen , which should not have occurred, especially since we were an early dinner. They did offer us a drink to offset this occurrence, still should not have had to wait so long.

Honestly it was great. It is upper price range but,well worth it Staff was great, easy responsive. They knew the menu and even recommended things that actually made sense and value to the enjoyment. Highly recommend Luckys......amazing.

Regulars and we came for my girlfriend's birthday. Although I made the reservation weeks in advance and arrived a few minutes early, we got seated in the middle of everything in perhaps the busiest and loudest spot w no intimacy. I probably should've objected, so I'm partly to blame. Enjoyed the new menu, but scallops were not warm. Staff great as usual, Nick was our waiter, very polite and attentive.

We are a returning customer to Lucky after a new menu was offered. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a visit with our friend Kent who also recently returned to Lucky. Enjoyed the menu and took advantage of the prix fix option with wine pairings. Food and service were very good. Place was a little noisy but seemed to be the result of everyone enjoying themselves. It was nice to be back. Will definitely return.

The main courses (scallops and steak) were both cold and flavorless by the time they made it to the table. Complete lack of seasoning. French fries do not belong on an high end restaurants plate. Appetizers and wine pairing were delicious. Good service.

The restaurant needs to bring back a real steak, not just flank steak. Also, get rid of those silly flower posters. You could upgrade ambiance with decent wall decor.

Great food using locally sourced ingredients. Things I would never think of putting together in a dish that really work well! The signature cocktail I had was very good. We arrived right on time for my reservation and was seated right away. Our server was just attentive enough without hovering and the courses arrived at just the right times. Great experience
