We used to really enjoy Louie’s Wine dive but the last two times we’ve been there, the food has been bland, service slow and everything just seemed not up to par. It’s a shame.

The food was good but the service was absolutely incredible. She greeted us with a smile and just chatted with us for a few minutes, was ready with fresh coffees when needed and went above and beyond with my Gluten free needs. At the end of the meal she brought beignets for our table in celebration of a birthday. She told me I needed to be in on the fun. So she brought me some of the caramel and sliced up apples. The level of care was 10/10.

Our first visit and we enjoyed the food, service and relaxed atmosphere. We were there for an early dinner and it was not yet crowded so we don’t know if it would be noisy. We will definitely return.

Menu is good, the food is always fresh and the staff is so friendly. They have a very decent wine list which is the best part. But when the place is busy, the noise can make it quite uncomfortable.

A fun, pleasant restaurant. The servers and other staff were exceptionally friendly, which added to the quality of the experience. As an older adult the noise level made it a bit challenging to hear my partner at times, but that that is what happens at a “fun, happening place.” And it was not a significant problem. My dinner was delicious: a mixed green salad with sliced chicken. I forget the exact name. Something like “harvest chicken salad.” At a fair price. Delicious Chilean white wine: Pinot Grigio I think. Perfect for a hot summer evening in Overland Park!

We've been to Louie's a few times and there is always a little something marring the experience. We're not high maintenance at all. At ALL! Our first visit had an inattentive service issue that was corrected later. The next time we went, the food was sort of meh. This last time, the service was great, the food was great ... but the place was SUPER LOUD. Like jarringly at times. Our guests actually jumped out of their seats at one point thinking someone had come up behind them and yelled in their ear. It's a cool spot with a great menu, so I bet most people have a perfect experience. We just keep tripping up in one area or another.

Louie’s never disappoints! I have celiac disease, and this is one of the few places I can trust. I have never gotten sick here. The staff is always so friendly and on top of it!

Wonderful server. He was the best part of the whole experience! The food was good, but nothing to write home about. The problem we had most is it was so loud in the restaurant we could not hear anyone speaking at the table. Great wine selection.

The drinks, appetizers, and biscuits and gravy were the best things food wise. The server was incredible. If you’re going for drinks highly recommend. If you’re going for brunch food look elsewhere.

We had the Saturday brunch for the first time. It was all excellent: my Arch Frenemy was outstanding. My friends really enjoyed the Crab Benedict, Blue Plate Special, and Avo Omelette. We will be back because we want to try other items on the menu.

We LOVE Louie's and it is one of our regular stops. I have noticed in the last few visits, the noise level has seemed to increase. Probably need some soft noise dampening applied to the walls, as most surfaces are hard in the restaurant or some white/pink noise generators added. This should NOT stop you from visiting and frequenting this gem.
