   Never had a subpar experience here until last night. Our waitress did not come to our table for the first 30 min we sat down at our table although other were sat after us with immediate service. With that being said, the food was fair - we had one person in our party with their steak not cooked correctly but they did remedy that but by the time it returned we were all done with our food. Hoping it was just an off night because we’ve had great service before this experience with excellent food and drinks!

   Service was great, prices were not, elected to finish our night with 1 app and 2 drinks total to the tune of $50 with tip. We will elect to find somewhere more reasonable on the future, noting we eat out very often and do understand the current market conditions (5/2023).

   Fantastic atmosphere. Plenty to choose from the menu. Drinks were excellent and the server, Jenny was fantastic. She recommended drink options and gave us samples to try beforehand. She worked well with us as a group and fun was had by ALL. By the way, order the brussel sprouts. You won’t regret it.

   Our waiter was awful. We were essentially ignored. We waited an hour for our food without even a check in from him before or after the food was dropped. Food was subpar. We have enjoyed brunch here before but will not be back for dinner.

   We had a very good experience eating at Louie's Wine Dive and Bar. The waiter was very helpful with suggestions ranging from the wine selection to the food. All in all, it was a very fun and good time for everyone in our group.

   The last couple of times we’ve gone the service has been very poor and they haven’t seemed that busy. There was one waitress that seemed to have most tables but other waiters available. We had to flag her down every time we needed anything and waited a long time for drinks and our ticket. Not sure what the deal is here but we were unimpressed.

   Our server was nice but either overwhelmed or new. Our service was slow, she took our drink order and 10 minutes later came back and took it again. No able to explain happy hour wine options, unfamiliar with the wine list which if it's a Wine Dive, that should be assumed, and once we got our appetizers, she came back and said the kitchen was backed up so she should submit the dinner choices. We asked her to give us time to finish our appetizers but the food came out quickly. Then she never came back. Our dishes were piled up and after an hour, we flagged her down for our bill. We had to send it back as it was wrong. I've been there half a dozen times, but probably Fridays I will go elsewhere.

    Louie's is back! Several years ago everything was consistently excellent, then for the past couple years it's been moderately "meh". But tonight's dinner was perfect. The shrimp tacos were ridiculously good. Brussel sprouts, beignets, and salad were all back to 5 stars! Glad to see that things are firing on all cylinders at Louie's Wine Dive.

    I love Louis. The bartender and staff are wonderful, but my favorite dish isn't as good anymore. I always get the Spicy Shrimp Diablo, but is just isn't as good. It is kinda dry and less spicy. Sadly because I used to crave this dish.

    This was my second visit. The food was under seasoned...a little blah. The presentation of the food was beautiful though. I had the new cocktail, the "long hello". It was bland and lacked any pizazz. I'm not sure why things were so underwhelming this time.

    Been a few years since we visited, the prices have gone up a lot and the quality has declined. The wine is way over priced, at least 4x a bottle and the selections, especially for by the glass are very limited. The food while good, is very heavy on the amount of starch and low on the amount of protein . For instance, the fish and chips was a plate of fries with one fish filet cut into three finders to appear as more. All the other entrees we tried were similar. Compared to other bar and grills, they have gotten over priced and the service was marginal. Used to be a great find.

    we went at the recommendation of a friend who is also gluten free, there are plenty of gf choices on the menu, but unfortunately the gf ravioli uses a different kind of pasta and isn't ravioli which wasn't communicated, they were also out of gf hamburger buns and sparkling rose, at least they took the ravioli off of our bill, but did charge for the cheeseburger replacement which i expected to be comped, they did give us a $15 gift card which was nice, but not sure we'll be back

    Great atmosphere! A very swanky and social place to meet friends. Just be sure to sit away from the door during the cold months. Their beignets are the perfect finish to your evening.

    We hit at a weird time - end of brunch, no lunch menu, and only small happy hour menu until dinner. We totally understood but probably would have planned differently if we’d known the menu would be so limited. Server and staff was great and cocktails were delish - try the sangria!

    Our experience was great. The food and the service were wonderful. My only critique is that I wish our waitress would have brought dessert menus after our meal. We didn’t end up having it but some of us might have like to. That was minor and we will definitely go back!

    I go to Louie’s A LOT. Made a reservation at 5. Had dinner with my two sisters who I haven’t gotten with since the holidays. Ordered dinner. Two of us had two drinks a piece. At seven the hostess asked us if we could leave because they were busy. I’ve literally never had that happen in my 30 years of living in Overland Park!!! We got up and left.

    It was a very busy evening and it was apparent the staff was stressed and had too much going on. Service was slow, food was good but not on par with the prices. Asked for a medium-well fillet and it came out very rare. The staff was nice and tried to make up for it by giving us a complimentary dessert, which was appreciated, however they failed to me to mention it was made with nut products and I have a nut allergy. All in all, not a great experience. I’m sure it would’ve been better in a quieter night, but I’m not sure I’ll want to return.
