Beautiful food very tasty fresh and presented well MoreOpenTable Diner -
its lovely to be fussed over by the staff and waiters, the pairing of wine with the food is very good, and the explanations given by the Sommelier were very good and made it fun. it was valentines night so the prices were very high, it was one of those must do experiences especially for romantics MoreOpenTable Diner -
First time and very impressed. Great menu and enjoyed the selection. Both opted for fish and chips which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Great choices for fish with the fish and chips. Highly recommend. Service a bit non attentive and had to ask a couple of times for our bill. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Took my mum for afternoon tea for her 60th along with my 6 week old baby. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful food. The staff were really accommodating in terms of the baby and I felt very comfortable breastfeeding there. MoreOpenTable Diner -

We had a delicious meal. It was the first time any of us had tried cacau beans - there to nibble while you look at the menu. The scallops were gorgeous, as was the chicken and the molten chocolate pudding irresistible - all washed down with a smooth red Alentejo and a good glass of Caribbean rum. The wood in the interior gives a cosy yet exotic feel to the place, but the ceiling in the restaurant is just a little bit too "warehouse" - all bare concrete and ducting and a bit out of kilter with the rest of the place! Overall, a very good evening. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Great atmosphere and attentive staff. Wish there was a bit more variety with vegetarian food. Other than that, it was a great experience MoreOpenTable Diner -
Very fun and lively place, the tapas each had their own distinct flavour s inspired from Spain or Italy. Pretty small portions for the price, same for the pretty small amount of wine when ordered by the glass, so don't go there for a filling and cheap meal. But it's definitely worth it if you're looking to discover and share with family or friends, everything tasted delicious and although his colleagues were lacking in dynamism our waiter was wonderful, proactive and friendly. Another excellent meal here, been a few times now. We would certainly return again for another visit. The biriyani was a particular highlight, and the other dishes were good too, although puddings not great and served in their packets. Service was slightly too slow/inattentive but overall a great meal. MoreOpenTable Diner -
I had a really memorable evening wife my wife at Oblix East. This is definitely not one of these restaurants that's just about the food; the experience starts as you are greeted at the door right the way through to collecting your coat on your way out. Actually, you could argue that your experience starts with the elevator ride to the 32nd floor of The Shard. The restaurant is small, vibey and full of atmosphere and, of course, the views over central London are incredible. Our table was right next to the window which made it extra special. The food was very good - I had the Wagyu Cheese burger and took the waiter's recommendation of having the Mac & Cheese as a side. Sounded unusual at the time but ended up being a really delicious combination - the Mac & Cheese is superb. The portions are not huge and the menu is not overrun with options but I think that's a good thing. Rather do a few dishes REALLY well than do many dishes averagely well. One thing to note - a 13.5% service fee is automatically added to your bill but this does not include the waiter's tip. I guess this is for all the other people who are there to make your dining experience unforgettable who are not directly tipped by customers. MoreOpenTable Diner -
A lovely venue with the added bonus of tremendous views of the Thames and Tower Bridge . MoreOpenTable Diner -
I booked the lounge mistakenly thinking I had booked the restaurant. Lounge was much nicer, we sat on comfy couches and food was really good. The ambiance and the service was second to none it was a wonderful evening. Not to mention one of the best veiws in London. We headed to the bar on 52 floor afterwards and that was also something really special MoreOpenTable Diner -
Great hidden pub (with traditional looks!) under the arches Service was excellent and overall feel of the place is good MoreOpenTable Diner -
My husband and I were up in London on a cold wet January day. We booked for lunch at Cafe Rouge as we had some vouchers and were glad to be welcomed and shown to a warm table. The restaurant was very busy which was a good sign. We ate from the lunchtime specials. I had the soup to start which did the trick and I could feel myself warming up. For main I had the moules frites which were delicious. My husband had the steak frites and had a delicious blackberry and apple crumble with ice cream. The staff were very attentive and made sure that everything was OK several times. We were pleasantly surprised when we got the bill how reasonable it was and in fact have saved our money off vouchers for next time. Nice friendly warm atmosphere and tasty food. Would go back. Located a stone's throw from her big sister the 'bustling' Bermondsey Yard Cafe’, Melior St. Is a small cosy venue with just 45 covers enabling our executive chef Matt Reuther to flex his culinary muscles. With a lunchtime take away/pre-order menu alongside daily changing specials. We will use the best suppliers to create a fusion of tastes and interesting dishes.
With just two draft beers provided by ‘Lost Rivers Brewery' named after the historical rivers that run under lost London, a further selection of craft ales and a great selection of new world wines including bio-dynamic examples. More
Great space to experience London views at a reasonable price. Came here to celebrate my sisters 50th and restaurant space and experience didn’t disappoint. Food was mixed, very small portions but some were tasty, e.g the cod, but others not such as the risotto. Although staff were great, they all seemed extremely stressed and food service took over 2 hours for a 2 course meal. I’d definitely go back but probably prefer sitting at the bar. It’s a shame there aren’t more areas to allow you to snap pictures - most of the windows are lined with tables so not easy to catch an awesome shot! Host apologised for delay in food service. Really good food and a great ambiance. Went here on the recommendation of a friend who knew the owner. You're never really sure till you try it, but glad we did. Authentic flavours but just brought forward a few years. The Ox cheek curry for example was lovely, could have done with a little more heat, but I guess you have to cater for all here. The crab was brilliant as well....... to be honest, just go. Try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Love the ethos and people at GBs. Only issue is that it isn’t always busy during the week so if you want a buzz around you this isn’t the place, unless you go downstairs where they have live music in a Friday. It is a great breakfast place and of course brilliant coffee! Good food, creatively done and lovely service. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Velo serves lovely healthy Vietnamese style food. The menu is fairly small but each dish is fresh tasting and flavoursome. I'd recommend this place if you're wanting to eat out but watching the waistline! Lovely spring rolls and I would definitely recommend the Viet Chicken Curry. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Wary of the previous reviews for Silka but encouraged the by news of new managemet (the group who own Mango and Est India) I decided to take a gamble and booked a table for a casual mid week dinner and it most certainly paid off. The food was excellent, every dish served was well seasoned, rich and full of spice, the hot tandoori starter and Makhani chicken are a strong recommendation along with a warm freshly baked naan to clean up anything the cutlery missed. The service was swift and efficient with friendly staff ready to help with any questions about the menu or make a recommendation. A personal greeting by the owner at the end of the meal was also appreciated and a nice touch. The menu is simple and to the point providing an A list of some of the cuisine’s best and most exotic dishes, opposed to phone book of chef specials (a personal pet peeve) There is a nice enough atmosphere but Silka is definitely in need of a make over to add some colour to the aged white walls making it feel less like a bunker and more of a hidden gem. Price wise it is on the more expensive side but the quality of the food is also very good, so as most things in life value is also in the eye of the beholder. I will definitely be returning to Silka based on my first experience here, and would recommend anyone else to give this place a try. MoreOpenTable Diner -
A two minute stroll from London Bridge station, Heeltap is contemporary on the inside with an uplit bar, comfy sofas, high seating, meeting room and a semi private party space and boasts a secluded courtyard outside. Open at weekends, this is the place to watch any of the sporting fixtures on Sky — and the managers playlist pulls in a good crowd in the evenings. A fantastic selection of draught and bottled beers, an outstanding wine list, Champagne, premium spirits and classic cocktails. The menu features sharing platters, tasty mains, sandwiches, small plates and daily specials throughout the day.More
Every time I've been I have been struck by how friendly the staff are. So nice to see in a busy London bar. The cocktails were passable, the olives were fantastic. Not a lot of choice for vegans and the wine list is not marked for vegan friendly bottles, but that was OK. MoreOpenTable Diner -
An excellent restaurant with the personal touch. To be constantly referred to by your name by the manager is a great touch. The layout does however need to be changed to avoid takeaway customers walking past and knocking tables. The tables themselves were a little on the small side and not big enough even for everything for a small meal for 2. The food was good and well proportioned. I would definitely dine here again but would ask not to be sat by the kitchen area by the main corridor. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Londrino offers an a la carte menu, that gives a nod to the flavours of Portugal and has an emphasis on the sea.
At lunch we also offer both a la carte and set 2-3 course menu for those looking for something a little quicker. Sunday's we have our take on family lunch, a feasting menu inspired by regional dishes of Portugal with a twist.
We strive to reflect the many culinary influences that inspire us and seek out the best produce possible by working closely with British farmers and daily fishing boats, as well as sourcing unique ingredients from Portugal.
The ASK Italian restaurant in Spice Quay, Butler’s Wharf, offers a great spot to dine on the waterfront. Our restaurant, with a large part-covered outside dining area, looks out over the River Thames towards St Katharine Docks on the north bank.
The iconic Tower Bridge is to your left – an extra special treat when lit up at night. Our chefs create quite a few treats of their own. We’ve come up with a menu that includes contemporary cuisine and traditional dishes – made with Italian ingredients and real Italian flair.
So if you’re heading south of the river, you’ll find us equidistant between London Bridge and Bermondsey tube stations, just round the corner from the fantastic Design Museum.More
