Service was amazing! Zack, and the entire staff, helped my wife and I have a wonderful anniversary dinner. Get the Elk!

From the moment you You walk in, the friendly wait staff immediately begin catering to you. The ambiance is perfect for what you know will be a meal to remember... small and cozy yet not over crowded like many. Chef Xavier mans the kitchen and prepares every meal... French born and raised as well as trained... he really knows how to cook! Think of this as your neighborhood French bistro... nothing crazy extravagant... but good food with great flavor... prepared perfectly! That's very hard to find... especially in the States. This little gem is definitely worth a visit and will be my new "go to" restaurant in Santa Fe from now on.

Excellent country French cuisine with locally sourced foods and strong farm to table selection. They grow there own herbs and other selections. This is a standout in an area dominated by Mexican flavors.

Dinner at L'Olivier on October 28, 2017 was an exceptionally good experience. The food was delicious, from the escargots to the lemon tart and everything in between. The service was outstanding and unpretentious. I hadn't been there in quite a while and am glad that I chose to have my birthday dinner there. I won't wait another year to return.

As always, L’OLIVIER never disappoints. We eat there every time we come to Santa Fe. It’s our go-to place to have a ...welcoming reception, great appetizers, fabulous dinner entrees and a wine list + wine advice that never leaves us guessing. 5⭐️‘s Marilyn and Bart DePalma

What a wonderful evening. Great selection of wine and entrees. Brought first time visitor to NM for dinner here. We started with a wonderful salad with goat cheese stuffed dates. The venison was some of the best prepared I have ever had. The turbo was perfectly cooked and the lamb rack was also just right. Good wine selection and good service. We will be back.

Enjoyed an amazingly delicious lunch, sharing three dishes with a friend. First an escargot appetizer with baked cherry tomatoes, spinach and Black Forest ham in a garlic butter that we both absolutely loved. Next a baked turbot on a bed of black wild rice with the saffron cream sauce that was a special that day and very delicious. Finally, duck confit with French lentils that was extremely flavorful. Will definitely be back.

We were amazed by the small size of this spot on Galisteo, but it makes no difference. Our server was a lovely, lovely lady with splendid curls. Our escargot was such a treat - totally different from anything we had ever thought about. Elk tenderloin, not elk steak, in a beautiful sauce, could not have been better. This is a great place.

The appetizers-canteloupe soup the escargots were perfect. The main course of sea bass with black was inventive. The owner made a point of visiting all the tables to see that customers were satisfied.

Beautifully decorated dining plus the outside court/bar make this a must stop. Innovative menu will ensure a great dining experience. Attentive and knowledgeable staff enhances the experience. When you've had enough New Mexico cuisine, this is the place to enjoy fine food.

We had expected a better experience. The bread that was served was not fully-baked; it was doughy and did not have a real crust. The food was just okay...nothing special. We had expected a better meal for the price and the setting.

Great dining experience! Atmosphere is lovely, very quaint. Food was some of the eat French cuisine I have had. My husband & I had the short ribs, excellent!!! Food is served on a hot plate keeping the food at the perfect temperature. Our son highly recommends the Crete brûlée for a nice finish to an excellent meal. Wonderful service as well!

Braised beef short ribs perfectly tender and the chile mashed potatoes amazing. Friend had the Scottish salmon special and declared it wonderful. Husband had the duck breast. We gave all our meals 2 thumbs up! Wine list is well-curated with something for everyone (I own a wine store, so I should know). Love this place and visit every time we're in Santa Fe.

Elk is a specialty of many fine restaurants in Santa Fe. However the elk at L'Olivier, served with a wine reduction, was excellent and served with accompaniments that were both intriguing and delicious!

We've been delighted to dine at this wonderful restaurant ever since it opened 2-1/2 years ago and it never disappoints. It is, in our opinion, one of the best places in Santa Fe, which is saying something. The food wonderful.... beautifully presented, by knowledgeable and pleasant servers. A nice wine list, with some excellent choices. This restaurant is a must try when in town.
