    As a visitor from out of town, I asked my cousin for recommendations. When I said that we'd like Mediterranean food, she did not hesitate to mention Lola. We were very happy with our meals and service and will definitely return when in the area.

    This was my first time ever giving a one-star review on OpenTable. The experience was bad from start to finish. I couldn’t get a server to take my order, and with only 10 minutes left before the kitchen closed, I had to approach a server myself. She told me coldly, “Go back to your seat, I will be there to order for you,” which came off as rude. I ordered the lamb kebab — it was raw inside. They remade it, but the second one was still undercooked. I’ve eaten lamb kebabs at many places, including in Greece, and I’ve never had one served this raw. The server avoided eye contact the whole time and just stared at the ceiling while dropping off dishes. They eventually offered to comp the kebab, but both the service and the food were a huge disappointment.

    I’ve always loved Lola, and this visit was no exception. My wife and I had a lovely anniversary supper here and Chelsea was great!
