Laconda remains a local restaurant that has a fairly consistent but over priced kitchen, with awful ambiance. We go because it’s local and easy.

Locanda has a Lovely comfortable ambience. We have been coming here for years, and it is one of our favorite spots. The food and service are excellent. When it’s crowded it can get bit noisy, but it’s just from conversation not loud music The pasta is always al dente and I love their sauces. Last night I had the cioppino, it had a delicious red sauce and lots of seafood. Another person had the halibut special and we also had one of the pasta dishes. I highly recommend this special neighborhood gem!

We frequently eat at this restaurant. The portions are considerably smaller now. We ordered martinis and they obviously bought smaller martini glasses, and even the martinis were smaller! Unfortunate…

We were seated and it took 20 minutes for a waiter to approach the table - we then waited 15 additional minutes for our drinks to arrive. We ordered an appetizer of bread and oil/vinegar. The bread was toasted wheat bread rather than sour dough or french bread.

We came here to commemorate a birthday and a death. I used to come here with my family all the time, and it had been a while since I had been. The ambience is still lovely and the hostess was very nice. The food was not what it used to be although the Caesar salad is still very good. Our service was absolutely terrible. One person asked what was in the vegetable lasagna, was told the wrong thing. The server went back to check, the person then ordered the vegetable lasagna, only to be told that there wasn’t any left. Three of the five orders at our table were wrong. We were overcharged for two bottles of Prosecco. They were listed on the menu at $30 a bottle, but we’re $45 on our bill. The server and bartender were able to work that out. While we had an enjoyable time because of the friends and family, the service and meal were very disappointing. We won’t be back anytime soon .

We were seated on time at 6 on a Saturday night. Not may tables seated then or later. Not sure why because it was a good value and adequate food. The servers and staff were delightful. Made the night. 4 people all with Split Caeser Salads, split Cioppino for our guests and all served with no hassle and with a smile. Great martini.
