Sarah our server is incredible
Delicious food, great service -a little loud.
Amazing food and service!
First time patron. Server Raul was funny, efficient and attentive. He made our dining experience very enjoyable. Food was excellent. Best test for good Italian food for me is to try the Bolonese and it was delicious. Gnocchi and hangar steak were also excellent. Would highly recommend!
Had dinner here last night, it was awful. Ordered the seafood risotto and it tasted like overpowering almost-bad seafood flavor, really disgusting. Told the server it was not great. Didn’t eat more than three bites. She was snotty about it, still charged for it unapologetically. Overall our dinner with our family was over $200, I have never left a bad review for a restaurant before, but this place deserves a bad review. Disgusting entree and terrible service.
Great atmosphere for a weeknight date spot. Menu had great options and the server was super helpful with recs. Can’t wait to go back!
The food is very good. The ambience is quiet and dark which is relaxing. The service here is hit or miss. We have had good servers and we have had so-so ones. The bartenders are always good.
Salmon and Porkchop entrees were great, we would definitely be back
This is an Italian staple in the Hilltop neighborhood. The food is exceptional, filling but not heavy. My "go to" dish is the Chicken Milanese. Or try the daily Risotto. Atmosphere is relaxed and service is efficient. Love it!
Excellent service and all the food was very good. Ravioli, lasagna, and chicken parm were great. And good selection of good wines at good prices.
I love this little restaurant and would die for their superb seafood salad, which I have every time I go there!
Love this neighborhood spot. Never disappointed. Will go again soon.
Excellent food, as always, and very nice service.
They could use tablecloths, though, as good Italian restaurants do. One or two bucks to wash them wouldn't put a slightest dent on the costs.
Locanda is a hidden gem. It's just far enough off the beaten path that we can slip in on a quiet night and get reservations the morning of on busy weekend evenings. The staff is friendly and upbeat and give you the feeling that you are among family. The food is fresh and uncomplicated, relying not on heavy sauces but on a delicate blend of herbs and seasoning to create the right balance and enhance each dish in the most delightful ways.
Four of us shared a delicious charcuterie board and I had pasta with clams, mussels and shrimp. The butter and wine sauce was a hit.
Dinner was fabulous - I think the music was a bit too loud.
Great neighborhood spot. Great food, drinks and service. Crestmoor- Hilltop gem.
Its always a good meal but as people are venturing out again its gotten crowded and very noisy. I don't like having to yell to my friend across the table...
Great service and food. Recommend it highly! The seafood salad was delicious!
For was very good and reasonably priced. Nice neighborhood restaurant!
John our waiter was prompt and courteous. Food was great as always. Atmosphere was awesome out on the closed in deck.
Excellent neighborhood restaurant! Love the variety of choices and the food is consistently good. The atmosphere is lively and fun inside. We had salads, brussels sprouts, pizza, lasagne and seafood risotto. All the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We would definitely come back again.
A nice neighborhood restaurant that is well worth the drive. I shared a Pizza and at the recommendation of a guest seated next to us, I had the short rib ravioli as a main course. Both were delicious. A welcoming restaurant with great food. We will definitely come back again.
We are regulars here. The food is outstanding. The recent price increases are substantial. That’s our only complaint. The salmon dinner is over $30 and the wines seem much more expensive.
Great experience! The food and service was amazing.
The food was fantastic and the service was great! A hidden gem1
Unacceptable delay in getting entrees from kitchen. Waited over 1hour and we were not the only party with this issue. The food itself was excellent and our server was attentive, but the kitchen was totally unable to keep up with the evening’s bookings. We have been to this restaurant many times and have never encountered this type of severe delay. Will not return on a weekend anytime soon.
Amazing as always!
We have a fantastic dinner here last night! We had a party of 10 to celebrate my daughter's 25th birthday. The food was fabulous. I at every bite of my short rib ravioli and I usually bring home half of my dinner. (ok, the portion wasn't huge, but it was perfect for me!) From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious. The server, Emily, was also fabulous. She was very attentive but not intrusive. Will be going back here!
Good neighborhood option with decent not great food. Crowded on a weekend night.
This is a reliable, amazing spot for Hilltop and surrounding neighborhoods. Been going here for years and never disappointed. Food and service is fantastic - and it has a great neighborhood vibe. Lunches are also great.
Our server John was great and made our dining experience so enjoyable.
Fresh food - delicious
WHAT AN AMAZING MEAL!!
Hadn't been here in years and was STUNNED at how incredible the food is! Started with a seasonal offering; a gorgeous bowl of Butternut Squash, Kale and Chickpea soup. I figured it would be good but I did not expect it to be the vest bowl of soup I've had in years!!! Perfect temp, perfectly seasoned and an amazing, rich broth.
Next was the butter leaf salad- amazing as well. Perfect texture, delicate pears, balsamic reduction, crunchy candied pecans and the champagne vinegarette is to die for. We were stoked. Then our entrees- Short Rib Spinach Ravioli-beyond delicious and my wood fired steak along with the BEST sauteed fresh spinach, tossed with a hint of garlic oil lemon.
Every detail that makes food great is embraced here. And the server, Marissa was also tremendous. She had great descriptions, perfect table side manners and knows every innuendo of the menu.
This was a scrumptous, flawless meal.
BRAVO LOCANDA de BORGO! This serious foodie was impressed to the max. Going back on Wednesday for lunch!
Did I mention their pasta is made fresh daily...? Oh....
make reservations early, not good with last minute
Family in town and we had such a great time! Our server went above and beyond!
Great Italian food
Service was great, our server was outstanding, the food excellent. A bit pricy I thought but still good value. Has been a longstanding favorite of ours and in the past a little inconsistent in quality and service but seems to have overcome any issues.
Second time dining here. Loved the first experience! Second time around the food was sub-par and our waitress was terrible. Will give it another try (fingers crossed).
Great atmosphere, service and food!
