   Overral we had a good experience. The main meal portions were just borderline satisfactory, portions need to be slightly more. As the for taste & drinks it was good and the Godfather Part 2(cocktail) was pretty good. Starters Garlic bread was a bit bland & dry Watch out when booking online as Restaurant was not aware of our booking until the night before luckily the Manager Mark resolved the problem in time. Suggest booking this online & phoning restaurant to confirm.

   We had a family lunch here. The restaurant looks nice, the staff were attentive but we were very disappointed with the quality of the food. Scallops were very overcooked and rubbery. Liver was poorly cooked. The apple strudel was stodgy.

   Always looks very inviting from the outside and ambiance is buzzy, but the food probably doesn't wow as much as you'd hope. Still, decent enough Italian and plenty of options on the menu. Good for a buzzy meal and with so much on offer at the South Bank, a good option to fit around.

   Food was good, service was good until it got busy. Then it took ages to get someones attention. My friend was impressed with her huge pizza. It seems like their panna cotta has shrunk in size! Tiramisu should not be missed! Happy hour cocktail is tasty, always good after a long days work.

   Our first visit, it will not be our last. It is very convenient for the South Bank. Thes service was friendly and the food was excellent.

   Decent chain, serving pizza and fresh pasta and a short list of well priced fish and meat dishes. Food was pretty good, but we were up at one end of the restaurant so I spent half the evening craning my neck round trying to find staff (who had all clustered up the other end) to get a coffee/the bill. Sat with empty plates and glasses for a good 15 minutes before anyone could be bothered to come by: it was a fairly quiet evening so not really any excuse for it.

   In my experience Waterloo has always been a bit of a culinary desert so was delighted to find Locale. The food was great and reasonably priced , and the service was friendly and efficient. We'll be going back.

   Busy and buzzy restaurant, which can get noisy, but is convenient for South Bank locations, with pleasant food at fair prices.

   I dined at Locale County Hall with friends and our children. The food was served very quickly and the children were given special children's menus with crayons which kept them occupied for a few minutes at least! Luckily, there is plenty of room outside the restaurant for the children to run around as they don't like to sit still for too long! Overall, lovely food and quick service (apart from getting/paying the bill - that was a bit slow!).

    Highly recommend. Food was delicious and well cooked. Was very busy due to location but the service was quick. If you need to eat around County Hall/Waterloo area think it is best place I've been.Will return.
