Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar is Charleston's Best Waterfront Dining with a focus on local and sustainable produce and seafood. Housed in a 1940s retired naval building on the east side of the Charleston peninsula, Fleet Landing features a fusion of classic and contemporary Southern seafood fare in a setting that celebrates the area's waterfront heritage.

We take reservations and invite you to make them as far in advance as possible, as they fill up weeks in advance. We always invite walk-ins to join the waitlist when you arrive. If there is no availability on OpenTable, we are fully committed for reservations, and you are invited to join the waitlist when you arrive. For groups of 5-10, please give us a call at 843.722.8100. Larger groups are usually booked several weeks in advance. The largest group that we are able to accommodate is 10 guests.

The seafood is phenomenal. The famous lobster tail hushpuppies were delicious. All food was outstanding. Go try it out!!

About the restaurant
Focusing predominately on fresh local seafood with a French, Lowcountry flare, Charlie’s is the place for good food, good wine and unforgettable memories all enjoyed in a quaint French country atmosphere.

A Savannah native, Charlie Golson’s interest in the French language and culture took him to Paris. After a long stint in the fast paced hotel kitchens of Washington DC, he was ready to move back closer to home. It was at that time he was able to open up a one room French bistro. The restaurant has grown over the years, but the ‘Green Star’ remains steadfast in offering the finest ingredients the Low country has to offer with a menu that is hand written daily. Resort Casual.

We had a fantastic experience. The food was wonderful, as usual, from bread to wine to mains to dessert, and the service was exceptional. In addition to attentive assistance during our meal, several staff members diligently searched for and recovered my daughter’s Invisalign she had inadvertently left in a napkin when we departed! We were so grateful for their willingness to go above and beyond!
