Canada Water Café, close to the Canada Water Underground and Bus Station, is ideal for visitors to the London borough of Rotherhithe. This modern cafe boasts an impressive menu full of traditionally made pizzas, as well as other Italian favorites such as caprese salad and lasagna. Diners love the friendly and efficient service they receive when they enter this warm and welcoming restaurant. The regional specials menu is especially noteworthy, as is the splendid coffee served here. The perfect place to go for lunch, brunch, or dinner.

Enjoyable outdoor dinner on a warm night. Simple Italian menu, nothing dramatic, but overall pleasant food, well presented. Prices reasonable. Poretti beer on draught at exactly the right temperature was one highlight; the other was really good hospitable service, chatty and pleasant but not over friendly, from our waitress. Noise level buzzy but not loud.

Gola is a must-visit restaurant for anyone who loves authentic, traditional pizza but is craving a more adventurous take on it. Gola uses ingredients purported to have aphrodisiac properties, to make diners feel as passionate about their food as Gola’s talented chefs do. With such a range of exciting Mediterranean flavor combinations on offer, Gola is one of Chelsea’s best restaurants to visit when in search of the perfect pizza. Gola is hands-down one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve visited in London. Tucked away in Fulham, this cosy spot offers an authentic Italian experience that’s hard to beat. The food is nothing short of amazing – every dish bursts with flavour, made with high-quality ingredients and a real passion for Italian cuisine. The wine list is equally impressive, with carefully curated selections that pair perfectly with the menu. What truly sets Gola apart, though, is the staff. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, they make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Whether you're after a romantic dinner, a special celebration, or just a fantastic meal, Gola delivers every time. Highly recommended

Zonzo stands about halfway between Hyde and Regent’s parks, making it a great spot to rest after exploring London’s green spaces. Cozy and traditional, Zonzo offers a rustic ambiance with warm décor and the familiar crackle of wood-fired ovens in the corner of the restaurant. Diners can even watch as the chef prepares the pizzas, tossing the dough into the air and stretching it in the true Italian style. The Zonzo team prides themselves on looking after their guests at this top London Italian joint.

Melanzana is on the ground floor of The Raven, which happens to be the oldest pub in Battersea. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting, with gentle music playing in a candle-lit dining area. This makes it the ideal spot for a romantic meal in London. Their pizzas are superb, with diners often impressed by the thin, crispy crusts and gluten-free options. For a real feel of Italy and some great pizza, Melanzana is the date-night choice for many Londoners.

Show lovers need to check out the pre-theater dining menu at TOZI, located just minutes away from top London venues like the famous Apollo. The Pizzetta is the first choice of pizza fans, with juicy tomatoes and spicy salami. The standard menu has plenty of pizza options with some unique flavors too, like spinach with black truffle pesto. A surprising taste of authentic Italy in the midst of urban London.
