Chaplin's Restaurant & Bar is a 1930's style Japanese Ramen House and cocktail bar. Chaplin's Executive Chef and Partner, Myo Htun, is originally from Burma, but was cooking ramen in Japan at a young age. Myo received a blessing from his mentor in Japan after nearly 30 years of cooking in Japan, to come to America and continue to showcase his authentic Ramen and traditional Japanese cuisine. Chaplin's Restaurant demonstrates the aesthetic of a bustling ramen house in Japan in the 1930's silent film era. There is also a large outdoor dining area that is dog friendly. Chaplin's is located in the heart of the Historic Shaw neighborhood. And it is open until last call 7 days a week. Chaplin's received a Plate certification in the Michelin Guide in 2020. And it is located steps from the convention center and popular Logan Circle, 14th street and City Market.

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Ocean Grill and Bar, a lovely Latin-Mediterranean restaurant located on Harrison St. in downtown Hollywood, Fl near the circle. The hostess, Yasmin, greets you warmly as you enter, and you are seated immediately. The beautiful ambiance envelopes you, and you are wrapped in stunning color and lights. For starters, I had large shrimp bathed in milk cream and sitting in these delicious pastry cups. My husband had cerviche, which was very fresh and loaded with many kinds of seafood, both shellfish and fish. The citrus flavor enhanced the dish well, as did the various vegetables that were part of the cerviche. Complimentary homemade hummus with pita triangles was the best we've ever had. For our main course, I had the citrus salmon accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus. My husband had a whole sea bass with a variety of vegetables. Both were outstanding. Yasmin comes to the table and torches your herbs so that they are infused into the fish. Such a nice touch. We shared their homemade coconut creme Brule, which was also torched in front of us to give the dessert a nice crispy topping. A beautiful and talented singer sang in both English and Spanish, entertaining us and adding a festive mood as she danced and interacted with the diners. Ocean Grill and Bar is the place to go if you want magnificent food, superb ambiance, fun entertainment, and a staff who treats you like royalty. Thank you, Yasmin, our beautiful hostess, Roberto, our friendly, sweet waiter, and Osvaldo, the kind and caring manager.

An incredible place, a hidden gem in Miami Beach, I had a wonderful night with my wife, you have to try the skirt steak, the best that I ever tried, but before ask for the appetizers and ask for the sweet and spicy curry shrimp, you will love it. We flew into Miami for one night and wanted Cuban cuisine- and not touristy. The oxtail dish was amazing -the pork dish - delish - all of the sides were so tasty (mashed potato, rice and beans, cassava, maduras). We even had dessert - the flan was out of this world - we will be back!

The chicken parm was great but the penne had no flavor whatsoever. The bruschetta was also pretty bland and not that great. The bread was harder than it should be. However, the house bread was delicious!!! The service was also excellent.

My wife and I split the shaved steak sandwich and it was great and more than enough for the two of us. We went early expecting to miss the crowd but turns out there was a hockey game at the arena and the place was packed. However the service was very good and the food came out in a reasonable time. Two of us chose the fish & chips while the others chose the special and chicken sante fe. All were fresh & tasty. Drinks were also spot on. The manager dropped by twice to assure we were taken care of (we were!). This was the first time eating here & we will definitely be back.

We chose Don Jorge's at the last minute as there were not a lot of choices on a Saturday night. The reviews looked good, so we gave it a try. We are so glad we did! If you like Tex-Mex food, this is the place to go. There was a DJ that also sang and had a surprisingly good voice. The decor is simple yet clean. And the food was great. Everything we tried was perfect including the freshly made salsa. If you are in the mood for Tex-Mex, I would highly recommend Don Jorge's!

I always enjoy myself at peace and saint but they are extremely overpriced to the point where it seems scammish. I was charged $42 for 1 drink because I asked for a double serving in my cocktail. I didn’t think it was going to be cheap but $42 for one drink is absolutely insane.

Everyone in our party was looking forward to the "giant" pretzel, but what a disappointment! For the $17 price what we got was a cold loaf of bread camouflaged with a glistening butter coat lightly sprinkled with sea salt. Certainly not worth the price. Everything else was good, including the service. Won't make that mistake again.

Great food ! Waiter was awesome and personable, the only details to improve were the Kafta links were a little dry and the desert custard needs some work. I took my mom here for her 76th birthday. She wanted Mediterranean food and I wanted to bring her somewhere we hadn’t been, with a nicer environment than a diner or a chain. Mom ordered the chicken shawarma plate and I ordered the na’an tenderloin appetizer as my meal. We were both very happy! Industrial chic atmosphere softened by natural tree branches wrapped with fairy lights suspended from the ceiling and interspersed with small disco balls created a lovely atmosphere. The generous seating included booths, high tops, and traditional tables surrounded a large bar, and all of the seating was comfortable. The outdoor seating was all shaded by the roof over the patio, so we would have been able to enjoy our meal there as well. Service was prompt and friendly. We didn’t order cocktails, but I’ll definitely be back with my husband to try the interesting craft cocktails on the menu! My only complaint is that the music was a little loud for lunchtime but it wasn’t a big deal. I’m pleased we tried GOAT and will definitely be back!

The service was excellent. When we told our server that the coffee was very weak, he replaced it with freshly brewed coffee and was completely gracious about it.
