Ascari was hopping on a Monday night which is just what we were looking for. The service was excellent and the food was great. The Carne Crudo was a standout. The pastas were excellent. The Broccolini Fritty had too much breading and would have benefitted with a dip. I would recommend grilled calamari versus Fritty would give diners more variety. The Brocollini and Calamari were too similar.

The food is always incredible, I feel that they never miss. The service is also always so kind and sweet, and they seem to enjoy being there as well! Always a good time at Bar Isabel. Love the atmosphere, the design, the wood, the benches, the lighting. They also sent us some sherry to go with our dessert. So sweet.

We took his recommendation and had the Burrata salad with the focaccia and it was a great choice. Flavourful sauce on the gnocchi entree. Inside seemed stuffy, quiet and less atmospheric. The food service and drinks were by far the best we have had in the Calgary area. The bartenders make an amazing dirty vodka martini. A must try drink is their chi espresso salted caramel martini. One of our dinner guests has fairly severe food allergies and intolerances. The chef was able to make suggestions and modifications while personally preparing her meal to ensure she would not get sick. The whole experience was a 10/10. We will be back very soon.

The food, service, and atmosphere were incredible. It is high end food but the pricing is very reasonable for what you get. $64 for a three course menu of some of the best food I have ever had in my life is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend this spot for a small celebration, fancy date, or just to treat yourself. It is so neat to see the heritage house and grounds and be tucked away for a delicious meal. I also highly appreciated the number of non alcoholic beverages that were available! This was a very nice touch. My partner also enjoyed their cocktail.

this was a business dinner and the server did a great job of coming in and out at the appropriate times. The fish of the day was the Halibut, it was ok. My only negative comment was the Valet Service. He did not bring car to the front door, he mad the right turn onto Bay Street, parked the car and got out. I had to walk down the block to my car. For $21, the car should at least be brought to the front door.

I was in town with my mother in-law and tried Lulu Bar for the first time last night and needless to say we were so impressed. We had reservations for 7pm and for a Tuesday night the place was high on energy. It was fantastic!! The food & cocktails were amazing and we love the idea of share plates. Excellent staff and food. Had the seven course kaiseki and all was amazing. Best sushi I’ve ever had with crazy good flavours and freshness. The sake pairing was interesting too. Tried types I’ve never had before. Would go back for sure on an extra special occasion.

My teenager and I had an absolutely amazing time. Our server was the most beautifully genuine person. She was helpful and kind to my daughter who had a tryout the next day and we were trying to burn some nerves. The food was amazing. And the tea. Oh my the tea. The Old Surrey Restaurant is Surrey’s best well- kept secret. Built in 1918, it was the residence of Lou Jack and his household until it was converted into a restaurant in 1974.

There are five distinct dining areas on the top floor (including a cozy library) and a banquet facility downstairs. The cuisine is French with a splash of West Coast flare. Make this a destination when in Vancouver. Travelling from the UK we were given the place as a must go to, by a Canadian friend and it didn’t disappoint. Great staff, wine list carefully created and the sommelier helped us find the perfect match for our food, and the food was perfect, two of our group had a pasta dish which they raved about, my friend and I had the pork belly special that was cooked perfectly. The ambience is buzzy but not overbearing, people waxing lyrical about the food no doubt. Will return if ever back in Vancouver !

I never like to give bad reviews, however this time at Sandbar the service was awful. I live in the area and visit Sandbar frequently and usually the experience is very good. I was waiting for over 10 minutes at the hostess stand before I was even acknowledged to be seated. My guest was running late, but once she arrived the service was very slow. I asked for a water at one point during the night and the server came over half an hour later with it when I was paying the bill. It was a bit disappointing, as I truly love visiting Sandbar.

We are 2 couples - one from England and one from the US. Our friendship dates to 1978. We visited the Niagara area together and went to the The Winery on our last night. We sat outside on a beautiful night. Our waitress, Yvonna, was delightful. We drank mostly Peller wines which were fabulous, although I had a Manhattan and they only Makers Mark bourbon which was ok. The food was delicious and served at a nice slow pace which gave us just the right amount of time to talk. The food highlight was the lobster linguini which was Great with a capital G. Apparently they have a $50 cheeseburger but unfortunately they only serve it for lunch or I would have tried it. Overall a wonderful dinner in a wonderful setting.

Opened in 1986 by Uli Blume, it was one of White Rock's original waterfront restaurants and quickly became a favourite among locals for its great food and friendly atmosphere. The three course lunch was a masterpiece. Using locally sourced and seasonal vegetables and proteins the chef created perfect courses without relying on luxury ingredients. The Ontario Lake Trout was perfectly prepared, crispy and moist. The outdoor setting on a patio overlooking the Niagara escarpment under a blue sky could't have been better.

Welcome to Agrius - a unique dining experience in which we offer a rotating dinner menu showcasing local, organic ingredients as well as our full pizza menu.

Our bread is baked in-house from our own stone milled red fife wheat. We have an in-house butcher and work closely with our friends at Farm and Field butchers. We work with small-scale local farms, and use only sustainable fisheries.

Dinner is available seven days a week after 5:30pm and pizza is available every day of the week for takeout. We offer brunch Saturday and Sunday's from 9:30am-2pm (no reservations). We can't wait to see you!
